+1
and if you buy this make sure its a turbo block! just check for the oil supply at the head, sounds like an NA block in a turbo fwd, gut blew it up and sold it to the junkyard!
Should be able to, just get a full adjustment kit to get everything back into spec if you want to go that route. It's easier in the long run. Get the full rear kit as well.
This is VERY true, as well as ANY particulate matter from the old pump.Get a filter, put it on the inlet of the AC pump. If you don't you will have a failed 'new' pump pretty quick. A quick flush with brake clean will not work, the particles are too small that harm the pump, you NEED a...
Are you putting triangulation on the rear toe control, or do you think two tubes can handle the force? Not to nit pick just asking for safety purposes =)
Btw, those heim joints your using aren't cheapo ones are they? We get jeeps in the shop that have those same 1 1/4 or 1 1/2" balls and they...
I've shipped a few cars, and the distance you want is going to cost you $600-900 and that is about average. Just break the engine in and drive it normal.
If you want to waste your time with it and keep it on the car for a long period of time, sure its an OK part to put on. But in the long run not worth much.(these days)
How thick are you shooting the clear? You may have shot it while it was cold and wet outside which can cause foggy clear coat. Being in NC there is a ton of humidity. Did it turn out well in certain spots on the same part?
Did you shoot it with an inline water filter at the gun?
For how heavy a full weight 2g is, you won't see any gains with 400hp to 600hp, at least on the street with street tires. I would concentrate on torque band and not full top end power to go faster. You could even pull timing when you hit full boost where the tires start to burn off to gain...
If you have driven it with the taper part loose, I would find a new steering knuckle and do it right this time. It's not worth having the knuckle come loose and crashing into something/someone.
Don't go huge with exhaust size, save for end muffler. It will save the torque for your DDness. And unless you can weld in new engine mounts and get a jdm 4g, don't dump any more cash into this car. Save it and get another with 4g platform already. How many fast srt4's do you see? How many...
Nothing but a tune, learn how to tune it right from the forums(both us and ecmlink). That should set you up to figure out what you should buy next from learning what your logs are telling you. Also +1 on v3 lite, very worth the money!
I would go 9:1 on pump, possibly water/meth injection and run about the same timing as your 8:1 setup as planned. IAT's aren't an issue with that fmic.
Engines don't last true, but rotaries last the least. Not to mention the heat issues, tuning, coolant leaks, oil burning, crap mileage, less than 1/2 torque for hp made, lets not get started on carb'd rotaries(at least stock carbs).
I assume the compressor housing dimensions is what this wheel is modeled and CNC'd to fit, just bolt on?===edit..... does the extended inlet area make the surgeline closer to the usable pressure area, as well as changing the efficiency maps?I would really like to see some type of %...
That little of a diffuser won't do much, you need a lot more of the rear of the car opened up with a diffuser. How often do you drive 100mph into a corner, really?
Soo fresh and clean clean, I'd buy it. This was an older car but not the first twin engine, think of the olds with twin v8's(i think it was an olds). There was a drag version of the car for promo as well.
I agree 100% with Lucas on this, any type of elevation change as well as temp will need changes even with SD setup. Without logging every pull on a 500hp+ car is pure stupidity on the part of the driver. The clip on the TPS was not there, how do you think your car tossed cookies? Even a...
+1 not worth the now $40k+ tuition, for just the automotive portion!Unless you have an evo I would say stay away from most shops. The guys that do know dsm's don't usually work on them for a living. You just have to find the right person, I'm not doing it anymore or I'd tell you to come...
I also had prokit with agx's, the front shocks were toast within 6 months of installing. Bottoming out on all the potholes makes quick work of them I think.
Stock tires and switched to 17x8.5's with 225 35 r17's I believe. The rides good while it lasts.
Isn't it quite obvious that SD works off of the MAP sensor? You have MAP, temp, rpm, what else are people complaining about theoretical miss tuning from elevation change?
