It's not the TOB as the last one failed and that was wht I did the clutch and flywheel. Step height is fine. It is not a drivetrain noise, it makes the same noise old bushings do when you hit a bump. I was just curiuos if anybody has experienced the same thing.
I have searched this quite a bit but haven't found the answer yet. I just installed a ACT 6 puck with a Fidenza flywheel. Now when I start in first I can hear what sounds like bushings or mounts kinda squeak for a second when the clutch engages. I can also here this squeaky groan when I pan on...
Cars don't suck other guys d*cks!
Your car will never complain about you driving another car.
You can get in the car cold at 3am bag the ass of it and park it warm and not have to snoggle with it.
I appreicaite the input. I have lowered the car 1" then 2" and now 3" and I have found that I do not ride on my bumpstops because we replaced them with ones that are much shorter with bottom out the wheel well. As far as increased body roll goes, the car does not have any roll at all. I do...
Well It took me to long to get the camber right and it just looks too bad ass to raise up any. I'm already doing a repair or 2 a year on the front bumper which isn't a big deal. As far as not driving it as much, I already can only drive it 6 months of the year so thats not really a option for...
Thanks, I can go to a Eclipse or 97 Talon bumper but I fear it won't look right if I do side skirts and a rear kit bumper. Anybody got pics of a stock front bumper with a kit?
I want to put a kit on my car but my predicament is that I am so low right now that a bumper that is any taller will be on the ground. Does anybody know of any aftermarket kits that have a front bumper with the same height dimesions as a stock 95 talon?
Not a bad idea to make sure your car is making 14 volts. I had the same problem and it turned out my crank pulley was seperated which caused the alternator to underdrive and only make 12.5volts. Just idea.
So, I nave been able to get a charge from the alternator by putting a new fitting on the main power cable that attachs to the alternator output but after a hour or so it will no longer make a charge. It actually makes sparks at the alt output if you rev the engine but everythnig is tight. What...
The straight wire was fused, the voltmeter read .5volts form the alt post to negative battery when running, hence the problem. Also the main alt fuse is fine, it has been a peridiocal problem.
I have a brand new alt and battery which worked fine for a few days and then the alt wouldn't make any voltage. Had it bench tested, the alt is fine. So i put it back in and it worked fone for a week but is shitting the bed again. I've cleaned the connections to the battery and tried running a...
I got it working by cleaning all the wire connections. The plug had some cfine corrosion that I did not notice right away. Thanks for the help guys! :thumb:
I put in a new Alt about 3 days ago and it seemed to work fine but now my car keeps dying. I unhooked the battery from the alt and ran the car and the voltmeter barely hit .5 volts on the alternator output. The belt is tight and has grip, is there something that i'm overlooking or is this just...
Is it possible for a belt to be slipping without making to much of a sound? My alt and battery are new but the car is only making 11.6 volts. The belt is old and stretched to the max but is still taught.
I just finished dealing with the same problem. Use a crowbar or a flat head to push down on the bolt as u tighten and it will eventaully hold when it is tight.
I was curious to know if anybody knows what the max boost is before it would be to much on stock fuel trim with a evo 3 16g turbo. I know it is around 15psi on the t-25 but because of the cfm difference I'm not sure. Thanks.
I have tried to locate a usable thread to relocate the sensor onto a 1g head but i have not been successful. If somebody has a link It would be greatly appreiciated.
I tried searching this on this and other sites and I'm having trouble locating a link to help with pulling my head off. (the car's not mine  ). Thanks
You should just do a wet compression test if you want to find out if it is valves or rings. Just do the regular compression test then put in a teaspoon or so of oil and try again. If there is a increase in compression it is your piston rings if not its valves.
I already have had the recall done once before. As far as ordering from concelli I leave in calgary, alberta so the shipping, if even possible, could be a bit pricy. Also to be truthful I;ve never heard of them till now. Thanks for the input, I'll look into it.
"People always say that intakes are pointless they dont make your car any quicker, but i thought intakes on turbo charged cars would be a differnt story "
If anyone tells you this again slap them! Then slap them again! On any engine if you increase air flow you will increase horespower, torque...
I have a very annoying tick that comes from the solenoid in the middle drivers side on the fire wall. I believe it is called the evaporation solenoid, anyways can I remove it without pulling a CEL. Has anyone else had this Problem. Ideas?
If you look through the front bumper on the passenger side, under your intake you should see it. Looks like a miny rad. If it isn't there tell us what exactly is?
Where abouts did you tap into the vacuum line? The best spot is on the top driverside corner of the manifold. I believe you can see mine in my profile pics, I used a silver valve for a tee.
I replaced mine recently and 5 hours is resonable. It is a huge pain in the butt. It is tucked in very tighlty next to the driverside fender and requires alot of work just to get to it. It will eventually leak like a siv and will not be able to circulate coolant anymore and you will overheat or...
For the rearend you can jack up the differential, it is in the middle of the rear axle. Front end you can jack up with one jack under each side behind the wheel on the unibody. I believe it is ok to jack up the front end with one jack on the transmission (passenger side of motor) but it is...
