My Newest creation, 2G poly F+R motor mounts

These look GREAT!I have a set of solid (aluminum) ones that biglady made for me back when he was still doing favors for our community.I know if it wasn't for the fact that I have what I have, I would love to snatch a set of these. What sucks is that everybody always wants and...

Yeah it's compatible. As stated above..... Use 2 turbo bolts and 2 o2 housing bolts. Just use ARP equivalents for them. Here ----------> http://www.ffwdconnection.com/boltkits.shtml

    Carbon fiber ic pipe

Hell if this is for cosmetic purposes, You could just wrap the aluminum piping with the carbon fiber with out a lot of added weight. I mean if you add a pound of weight your surely not gonna notice it.I mean look at all the headaches you will solve. You wont need to make molds, Interior will...

    Web 264 cams with hx35?

If your suggesting that a larger duration camshaft such as a "272" will help promote quicker spool..... Well it won't. Your wrong.I'm not being a prick, Just stating a fact. :thumb:

    Holset Turbos, PART 7

You could still use that housing. :thumb:Take it to a machine shop and have them drill it open for you. Don't even bother trying it yourself. The amount of time you would invest and the money alone on bits, etc. would cover your machine shop fee.If you don't have a shop around you, Tim...

    Nylon vacuum/fuel hose

I don't think you can go wrong with either of those choices. BOTH are great quality hoses. I have used and assembled both brands. Both choices are very durable and extremely flexible. Far easier to handle and assemble then stainless line.the ONLY one thing that pops into my mind worth...

    Holset Bolts loose?

The Nord Lock washers are more then just a serrated lock washer.............Check out the videos on the website. It is a 2 piece cam lock washer.I have these all over my car.No balance shafts, Prothane side motor mounts and solid front and rear motor mounts tend to vibrate everything...

    Holset Bolts loose?

I think he just worded it wrong........................ I took it as that he was referring to the bolts that hold the turbine housing on the center cartridge.

    Holset Bolts loose?

Regular lock washers suck. :toobad: Loctite isn't going to work for you there either. If you want to do it right, skip the BS and go right to using a Nord Lock washer. They are the absolute best thing when you have a repeated problem with the same fasteners always backing off.Nord Lock...

You should be able to wiggle it out of there. It will be tight, but when isn't it when working in our engine bays.Make sure to clean the pipe well before installing the new o-ring. Also try to clean and dry the water pump outlet. I personally use a light coat of dielectric grease on the...

    heat barrier gasket

I honestly love the copper spray. :hellyeah:I would shoot a light coat on both sides of the gasket. Wait a few minutes for it to tack up then install. The only thing that sucks is that if you need to take the intake manifold off, you need to clean everything up, remove the copper spray...

    Holset Turbos, PART 6

You should at minimum try to use one of DEI's heat sleeve or some other fire sleeve type of product to reflect some of the heat away from the line if it's that close/touching the downpipe.I'm pretty sure if the hose is touching the downpipe, it's past it's MAX operating temperature of I...

Lowering the car need alignment help.

    Removing turbine housing from hx35

Can you see any corrosion or anything like that where the compressor cover meets with the back plate area of the chra?If so maybe a small wire wheel on a dremel would help get in there and loosen it up so the PB Blaster can work it's way into the lip area where the 2 pieces meet.I...

autometer oil pressure gauge, stock sender question

Well............... No first hand experience, but I'm sure the Autometer gauge is calibrated to be used with one of their senders.I highly doubt it will be accurate using an OEM sender. I'm a bit surprised it's as close as you say it is.Your best bet is to just replace the Autometer...
