I use the narrow gauge also. It works ok when telling you if your rich lean or stoich. but to fine tune your car (i.e. high boost), i would recommend a wideband o2 and the datalogger.
I agree on the whole cheap machine shop; bad idea thing. I didn't do the asking around thing and got clamp marks on the top of my block that i had to file down. There is also sleaving that is available for block that gets the bore perfect.:thumb:

i have the vortec fmu on my turbonetics kit. it makes me run rich but since i ran rich it tripped my o2 sensor now i run even richer. so now i have to buy a fpr and a/f gauge. so i suggest going for manuel fpr and save the trouble and you can always adjust unlike the fmu. :thumb:
