Me and a friend was in the same boat. Both cars were 1g fwds with the same mods. My car would put 3 cars on his on a third gear pull. We did a compression test and that explained why
A fmic is far better than a smic. The location on the smic kills the cooling. Even on a 14b I was still about to heat up the supra alittle. With a fmic the uicp stays cold.
I was going to use mine for mods:sneaky: but have decided not to. Im going to pay bills off lol
What do you guys plan on getting with the money?
thanks
290s in a turbo car that came with 450cc. That car didnt last very long:) A turbo car doesnt use that much gas when not in boost. If you have dsmlink or an safc you can tune down big injectors to get good mpg. So injector size only makes a difference while in boost. Theres guys with 50...
forgot about this, sorry. Im trying to get all of the necessary fuel upgrades for the 14b w/7cm housing. Going to stay small. Im going to be adding
safc
logger
2g maf
I was wondering could I use a 1.8 fuel regulator
thanks
You need to go to a dyno. To many things will effect that. Being turbo I sure you would gain more power. You need to do the whole exhaust really. A turbo hearder alone will provide little power gain
At what boost would you think this is possible. I brought a used turbine housing a couple of years ago and just looked to see what it was. 7cm housing baby:D I have the car at 16psi now but I know Im not making 300whp. i just recieved my 2g maf and going to be getting 550cc injectors, 2g fpr...
Your not keeping up with a 06 gt with the t25 bs
please close this threadbob123131 age doesnt really effect a motor. Its how the good the motor has been taken car of. i have over 171k on mines with 150 cross the board
first off I need to understand how a
bad break in
or bad install
can cause the pressure plate to be ####ed like that. To slip yeah but this come on!!!!
act=advance clutch trash
I was reading that for every 6psi you rise the fuel pressure you inject 15 percent more fuel. So I was going to the junk yard and get a 1.5 colt regulator rated at 47psi. Future upgrade is a evo 16g. Should I go this route or get a set of injectors and safc
thanks
Sorry read to fast :)Thats what I was wondering. The vr4 has 360 injectors but makes around 300hp stock. A dsm has 450cc and is 195hp stock lolJayRolla explanied it pretty good
I was wondering why you can take the stock 450 and make more power on a car with a bigger engine (3000vr4) On our engine they begin to run out at 300hp??
thanks
My car was doing the samething. I changed the plugs and that fixed it.
Check wires and plugs. Also thats alot of boost to be running on a 16g with just a 190lph pump upgrade
Not that this applies to any of you but a friend of mine was crying about his gas milage. I took a ride with him and figured part of the reason. He shifts at 3500 thru 4000 rpms lol. I shift at 2000 to 2500 rpms. He was like damn you car is better on gas then mines

I wanted to know if anybody has tried it? I heard the intake cam is good but the exhaust sucks. What would be the outcome of using a stock intake/264 exhaust?
thanksIm not going to do it, just wondering:)

Damn that ####in sucks. That shouldnt happen at a 175 break in. I have 205 on my clutch. I would be still be mad even if I got a new clutch. I hate the thought of taking the tranny off again
