2step it away... no need of nitrous for this purpose.. unless youre trying to spool a big turbo or auto. exhaust temps and pressure would only rise a bit till the car starts moving.
Hello guys im trying to track down who makes this front end, I try searching but no luck, i know a time atack member on here makes them but I cant find him. Im working on a FWD drag car and need to put something over my slicks to make the car look somewhat decent and some aero of course!.
any...
I do plan on coating the manifold... also will try to open up the bumper mouth a bit more... I did go to vegas but no car, i might of missed you in the crowd man!!!
yes updates!! took the car out to Boost Fest 2014 on Saturday before IFO Vegas And first pass no nitrous the car ran a high 12 at 138mph
2nd pass of the day 9.61 at 147 1.61 60ft << Best!!
3 rd ran a 9.85 with a horrible 1.7 60ft
looking at the logs im showing that my intercooler may not...
Yes Im on a S372 wich is a 71mm non ball bearing cast wheel with the extended tip and race cover.
boost is a 35psi and seeing good low back pressure.
I run in FWD class for IFO
Thank you guys!
Well Took the 2g out for some more testing, and right off the trailer, top off some q16 with a little bit more air pressure on the slicks, the car manage a 1.6 60ft spinning 2nd really bad, still manage a personal best of 9.80 @ 145. The car still on DOT M&H and pretty desent low boost on the...
Thank you guys!! Theres more left to do, but best pass so far is a 10.8 @ 135mph on 27psi boost.. SMH i know... at the same time we are dealing with 2.6 60ft, because we cant get it to stall and build enough boost, so we are bogging it.Last pass of the day we bumped the 2 step to 5k rpm and...
i missed both IFOs Phoenix and Tucson :( plans are to get the nitrous for spool up dial in and make fontana IDRC April 13/14It was a mustang Dyno with no RPM pick up so it only read 468hp @ 40psi . so numbers are pretty far off by the fact of how loose the torque converter is.we estimate...
Finally got around getting the video up from our dyno session a couple weeks ago.hopefully getting some good ets this year :hellyeah:<iframe width="960" height="720" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/gdwM-5_VmCY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
its doable. you will need to slip the clutch enough were is not going to stall on you.. we ran our pb launching in 2nd gear. keep in mind the car was a 4g63 swapped honda crx @1700 lbs.
Pulled the tranny apart, inspected the front hub and found out that the preassembled billet basket from ATF had a missing piston seal. Thats where all my pressure was going..
both solenoids have no voltage in 3rd like is suppose too with the kiggly mod, so when im in 2nd gear and try to shift it to 3rd nothing happens. like it stays in 2nd.FSM shows that needs to be 120psi + OEM and 200+ with the shift kit.... im only getting 40psi on the Front clutch.. 100psi on...
We just rebuild the tranny with Alto clutches and steels, also Translab VB, and kiggly shifter mod ATF front CNC hub < btw is a (4 clutch)..basically I have good 1-2 shift but dosent shift into 3rd.pressure on the Front clutch comes back at 40psi and drops as rpms goes up.Is this a...
Discusing prices/deal on a forum that you have a privilige to have. may not get you the same deal next time.with that being said. your tune will be fine.
its the automatic temp sensor.. my question is.. what the min and max resistance.. im working on looging it??? intead of buying a $70 autometer sensor.
Quick question and I cant fint it anywhere even the manual. :(Im setting up my external looger (powertrain Solutions d200) and i will be using the OEM temp sensor. basically i need the resistance low/high so i can input it into the looger.Anyone?Thank you guys! :hellyeah:
putting a bigger turbo, or using an bigger exhaust housing or even a bigger wastegate will free up tons of power being lost to the amount of backpressure being made on the hot side.
