Decided to step up and go SD finally with a flex fuel sensor.

Decided to pull the engine and do some gasket replacements, while it was out I picked up an ETS FMIC kit and FP intake.

Got some Evo 9 Wheels and GSX brakes. We will call this version 2.0.

Wanted a light upgrade so I did a retrofit on some 2ga spares, went with Morimoto Mini H1 v7.0's. (may be looking to do a new set here soon).

Needed some more fuel so swapped in the injectors. FIC 2150cc.

Did the old pull one bolt and install one stud trick. So far its held up great.

Took off the OE manifold and turbo and put something on to let it breath a bit better. FP manifold and 20g rebuilt by Justin.

Bone stock, made the trip to Ohio for the DSM/Evo/GTR Shootout... Only had to stop once and make a clutch line in the parts store parking lot. Other than that, no issues for the 16 hour trip.

Yeah, the issue with the 2ga lenses is space, it's a premium. The 2gb has much more room to work with, that's one reason I went with the smaller screw in projector and not the fx series. Looks great though!

I would strongly suggest next time you have your headlights apart to look into some type of projector retrofit, its not that much more work and the lighting is SOOOOO much better than just putting in some led bulbs...

If you do not have a short then more than likely you have a ground that may not be as good as when you originally made it. Over time they can become corroded and cause an increase in current flow which causes more heat. I would also recommend installing a fuse on the power side and switch side...

I will second that, with the insert on the front only it will not make much of a difference. The engine and trans mounts will make a big difference.

Are you running the factory ignition map?

Have you degreed the cams in? Often you get rid of a lot of the overlap when you do this, some people don't like it because it doesn't "sound" mean anymore but the performance speaks for it self. You could also increase idle RPM to give a bit more vac so the ecu won't dump as much fuel whether...
