I vent my HK$, SSQV without any problems...with a VPC! I used to without the VPC and the only way I could shift without boggin was full throttle....I hated it.
When I did mine I hooked the ground to one of the screws near by the fuel pump, and mine wouldn't start either. Turns out the screws go into a plastic "nut" so it wasn't grounded. Moved the wire and It started right up.
Are you still running a cat? That could be clogged as well. I know when mine we bad on another car I had, it would rev past like 3000, and kinda smelt bad as well.
Well I'm glad yours stick out so far! Mine looks about the same, I was worried there for a minute! It's really tight on a 1G with pop up headlights. Every once and a while my pass side headlight won't come up because it hits the IC pipe. Oh yeah I scrape all the time on the intercooler. Good...
Someone told me you have to hook up the SAFC a little different with a VPC than without. I'm just curious what wires go in different places than others.
Yeah most of my knock is gone....new lifters and knock sensor. I still get alot of knock if I floor it at a low rpm in any gear except for first and second. Then it bleeds down once my turbo spools. Kinda like if it was running really rich and once I started flowing more air and was able to burn...
Well I just got my AFC and of course have a question......I've had my VPC for a while now and have it tuned pretty good. Now I just got a AFC. My question is does it matter where I start tuning. On the VPC should I set the knobs somewhere and leave it alone. Or is there a better place to have...
I am trying to tune my 91 talon with a pocket logger. I can't figure out why my fuel trims won't ever change no matter what I adjust on my VPC. they stay at high 81% mid 92% and low 81%. My O2 voltage changes but not these. I tried resetting my computer and that just made the all go to 99% and...
Well I reset my ECU, it didn't make a bit of difference. What would cause my fuel trims to never change. No matter what I do with the VPC they stay the same. My O2 voltage changes it show rich just like the trims do. Hopefully this is what causing my knock. Because I sure as hell don't want to...
My car does the exact same thing. If I rev mine right to 43 knock count. same on the freeway knock stays at 43 until I let off the gas.I've messed with the timing/fuel/boost no change what so ever. Although I can't get the fuel trims to change no matter what I do. They stay at low 81, mid 92...
