Nitrous will not hurt your motor....Don't let others stupidity stray you away from using it. The only thing you should be concerned with is which will net you with your goals at a lower price. In the long run the cheaper and more cost effective option is going to be upgrading to a 16g...
well if its obviously not building any boost with the wastegate hose pulled off then the problem is the turbo itself, pull the 02 housing off, make sure the wastegate is SHUT...and then proceed to rig the flapper arm so it STAYS SHUT....and while its off check your downpipe for anything that's...
dude its simple...go pull the vacuum hose off of the wastegate so that the turbo will boost to whatever it wants to...if it goes above 5psi or whatever youre getting stuck at then obviously we'll know what the problem is......like i said earlier, youll need to control boost with your foot at...
Wait so have you pulled the hose straight off the wastegate just to see if the turbo would boost at all period? I'd just pull the hose off and give her a go obviously control the boost with the throttle but you get my point........Next thing I would check is to make sure you have an exhaust...
I went out again today rechecked park and all the plugs, and tried unplugging the MAS to see if it would start....no luck. I am truly stumped on this one......every now and then it kicked once or twice like it wanted to start. What is the culprit when a car is idling, and you give it gas and...
If it's just the battery you can garuntee I'm going to take a big gigantic shit on it and drop it off an overpassNah I dont think it sucked in any water it wouldve shut down immediately if that was the case
I've replaced the CAS with a good one..thats not the issue here...no i didn't cover the air filter, but I never have when I wash any of my cars...I never spray directly into them either...even if the MAF did get a little damp, I swapped it out as well with another working unit.....I've ordered...
Ok with my infinite knowledge in DSM's, a stock dsm has got the best of me, and it won't start. Here is the run down, stock 91 gst turbo....Running nice and hard until one day when I was on my way back from Oreillys, I took it to the car wash to clean it off and wash it all down since I...
Glad to see I got in...shes purty...do we get a free calender:sneaky:Ill be pushing a lot of people to buy it since there is a sexy beast in the December spot:rocks:
Check your CAS sensor...There is no reason your timing should be advancing above 21, also do the basics check for boost leaks by spraying everything down with soapy water..also if you can clean your MAF as well.Something is fishy with the timing though
It varies @ 4k or right around there...I will check the ECU next and get this coil pack on the car when the turbo gets back. In terms of spark plug gap I have tried everything from .35 down to .18. I'm going to log the injectors next. Like I said I can go part throttle all the way up to whatever...
To make a long story short I can go part throttle and build 20psi up to redline with a miss 2 here or there, but as soon as I go WOT, it's starts missing bad, almost like an automatic gun(in terms of frequency) and it only seems to happen up top, even if I were to turn the boost down to 14psi it...
Being that I live in Missouri, it can be 70 degrees in the morning and a snow blizzard in the afternoon, that's what happen, my car slid into a curve and the front lip got ripped off, when I had ordered it, it was the last one they had in stock...I go back to order this one and now I'm waiting a...
haha yea I know there is a pin 58...last night I was a little out of it, and I was looking at the plug all weird, I straightened up right after I posted that, and saw the wire...I was like DUHHHHHH
