looks like you have bad sparkplug wires, were the spark canot get to the sparkplug and looks for any ground.(thats why you see spark jumping on the coil)first chek your sprakplug gap, change your sparkplug wires with a friend.
just wondering whats the fastest in mph youv taken your dsm's to. I did 160mph with 18" wheels. i dunno if this applyies to our cars but i did the calculation for the rim size and it should be 170ish mph. the car felt stable at those speeds.what about you ?

does it have chek engine light on? if it does go someplace, get it scanned.a problem like you describe will definitly trigger the checkengine. theres to many variables U need the scanner to point you in the right direction
those were my 1st proyectors too. I also paid $250 on ebay years ago. to me they are the best looking headlights. but I remember that the proyector ilumination is very very poor. must be the design or lens.

I think it would be even better to connect the ipod to a preamp instead of directly to the amp. that way youll get better sound from it. and it will be easier to connect if you have more than one amp.
I dont see any problem with wanting to have a clean looking engine bay. but remember to clean every inch of the tranny and use good paint or youll end up with a painted trans looking worse than before in a couple of months.

OK , my veredict. I do NOT recomend this turbo to anyone. its got exessive LAG. tough it still has no shaftplay what so ever. maybe a 75 shot NOS will eliminate lag but even when it hits the 19psi it is nothing compared with my old one(rest in piece) at the same psi. thumbs down for this one...
on my other 2g eclipse I used to have sideskirts for the rear bumper, they were not originally made for eclipse they were made for mirage but fit eclipse like a charm. look nice also.
alternator is on warranty right now. all i can do to isolate heat is to roll the downpipe in thermotek. but the thermotek will be touching the alternator.you guys think thermotek will work?does ceramic coat come in a spray can? maybe i can throw ceramic coat on the downpipe and also...
yes i cheked the main fuse. and alternator connections.you are right dsm's are projects.but I just finished with a mayor project of fitting a huge turbo and making the downpipe,installing some other things. and now this. arrgh:beatentodeath:
hi. I just installed my alternator after having it repaired, and it only lasted for 1 day. my problem is or I should say my doubts about why it damaged again. is cause I just installed a new downpipe that fits MM almost touching the alternator and im thinking this is why it stoped working...
that turbo looks mean. and from what ive read on there website its better than the gt series. it is design for fast spooling and high hp. great turbo in my opinion BUT to much money. if i had that kind of money to spend on a turbo i would go with the gt-k 650. :cool:
my problem was a wrong combination of the eboost controller hoses. I just installed a MBC i had from long time and everything good. so far so good. I am not dissapointed yet. its pulling hard. at the end of the week ill try to dyno and post results.
something's not right. im seeing 19psi but not the pull Im used to at the same psi. right now I dont have the exhaust connected and it spools fast at 3k rpm i start getting boost.what could be wrong? could it be i have to tune again for this different turbo?
well i just finished installing it what a hazzle!! nothing i had was compatible with it fittings lines nothing. also its a hard fit, the compresor hits the block i had to shave a small area of the compressor housing. i have to go to work now, so ill tested on the way to work and tomorrow. and...
just received an ebay t70 turbo. just want people that have it to review on it. im not expecting wonders of it in fact its just a temporary solution since my gt35 died on me.ill be installing it tomorow and giving my own review about it.
from a local speed shop. why? im convinced failure was because of incorrect installation. a mistake that costed me a $1,450 paper weight ja!next time ill make sure to connect the oil filter with restrictor and water cooling lines. :thumb:
