You would only be changing out motors. The motor is exactly the same on GST/GSX. Only diff is transmission/transaxle and the obvious AWD and its components. The swap itself isnt that difficult. For a first timer it will take you a while. Dont rush, take your time. Read up about the engine mount...

I saw on Dsmparts.com there is a flange to bolt the HKS SSQ directly where the stock one is. I searched for a thread on this and found a 1g flange thread that had good reviews but the part looks different. I was wondering if anyone has used this one? Does it work well? Camber looks fine, from the naked eye my tires are straight. Tire pressure is regularly checked and set at around 32.

You just need to find if any other sensors are different. As far is it being from an automatic, drivability wont be a problem. It would only be a problem if you were trying to put a manual ecu into an auto car.

First of all, if you want help, dont yell. Second I bought my 6 bolt from Japan Direct. I receved the motor, wiring harness, and computer for 1600. After that, I bought 550cc injectors and a Safc2 for another 250. I don't have a 16g, but I have decent mods.

No, Evo II and III's came with 16g's and 510cc injectors.O and like No Skills said, if you have to ask how hard a awd swap is don't do it yourself.

It's not a horsepower increase. You just have faster revs, your car turns up faster so it feels like it has more horsepower.

No I'm really not. A friend of mine had one in his 92 fwd turbo talon. His exploded inside his transmission with not a whole lot of power goin through it. He had some good mods but nothing crazy. I'd say <350hp.

Taking off is a little rough sometimes. But you get used to it. I've heard a lot of stories about fidanzas blowing up.

I have an ACT Xact lighted flywheel. I don't remember if its a streetlite, but i love it. It will feel like it increases hp but it really doesn't. The point of an aftermarket, lighted flywheel is for faster revs and strength.

Sounds like a hell of a deal to me, as long as what everone above has checked out good. Make sure you drive it for at least 20 min or so to let the motor warm up and run like it will when you drive it. Listen for noises and listen/feel the transmission when you shift it. Good luck bro
