You just need to find if any other sensors are different. As far is it being from an automatic, drivability wont be a problem. It would only be a problem if you were trying to put a manual ecu into an auto car.

No I'm really not. A friend of mine had one in his 92 fwd turbo talon. His exploded inside his transmission with not a whole lot of power goin through it. He had some good mods but nothing crazy. I'd say <350hp.
I have an ACT Xact lighted flywheel. I don't remember if its a streetlite, but i love it. It will feel like it increases hp but it really doesn't. The point of an aftermarket, lighted flywheel is for faster revs and strength.
Sounds like a hell of a deal to me, as long as what everone above has checked out good. Make sure you drive it for at least 20 min or so to let the motor warm up and run like it will when you drive it. Listen for noises and listen/feel the transmission when you shift it. Good luck bro
