When I lived near Norwalk OH I used to go the track quit a bit, and I remember these kind of guys. They would sit there and talk BS all day about the other cars being in there way. Mean while they were running 15-17 second cars and would be there every MON-WED-FRI. Their stupid class was filled...
Project cars are always slow to come together thats why the are projects lol... You got a steal on a really really clean car, see it through and get the rewards of driving this car! If you sell it you will regret it right away i am sure of that.
Well for one the top to mass is wide open letting moisture dirt etc into the boards, I would fix that asap.Second it doesn't look the clamp on your turbo is fully on the boot so that could be a leak right there.
Best bet would be to either contact Justin directory or snag a used one and send it to him for a rebuild. He does great work for a very very reasonable rate.
I highly doubt the car has a T-25 turbo as that would be a step back in terms of performance do you have a picture of it?As far as the issue of not going past 3k RPM did you check and make sure all of the intercooler pipes are tight, and the intake is seated up against the mass? If yes, my...
Yes, and it has been down thousands of times. FYI there is no difference between the AWD and FWD block. Search 6 bolt swap here, and you will find all the info you seek.
Its NT so its not a boost leak.Did you relpace the fuel filter, and O2 sensors? For the bouncing idle I would start by adjusting your BISS screw, and checking to make sure the oring on it is good.
What exactly does your car do when it hits fuel cut? Reason I ask is over the years I have had helped fix many cars that owners were saying they were having fuel cut issues, and it turned out to be something completely different.
You should have no problem with the internal gate. I have a friend with a full weight 2G awd auto car that runs 11.2 with his car pretty consistenly with an FP Red internal gate the car is a "budget setup." So a well thought out build with a black would fit your needs just fine.
272's have propelled many cars into the 10's. I would look at the FP series of turbos, they are on sale right now as well. The Black or Red would do what you want, and you can use your manifold and down pipe since they are mitsu flanged.
Are you wanting to run a Mitsu flange turbo? What is your budget for all of this? Do you have the basic maintenance done IE BELTS, fluids etc. I would also suggest a set of forged rods, I know may have pushed stock blocks deep into the 10's but its cheap insurance.Cams 272's profile HKS...
Brother I am with you! I am 99.99999% positive he did not complete the swap as its damn near impossible. I was just trying to get him to come out with a "clear cut" question so he could get help. But hell he didnt even do that right, and now has every one even more confuzzled lol...ROFL
Take the ECU out of the car open it up and look at the chip for ID numbers. Most of the chips I have come in contact with will have a label on them showing what they are. IE 550cc injectors 2 stage rpm etc etc... You could even post a pic of it here.. FYI if you have a wide band and its staying...
You will need fuel injectors for sure with a 20G for sure. You really need to search and read a lot before you start throwing turbo upgrades at your car! It will save you a lot of time and pain.
It will work however you will need a new fuel pump, fuel injectors, some thing to tune those with, and optional but highly suggested a data logger. However, if you look around on here you can find a used t25. Or you can snatch yours off and send it to Justing Jusmx is his user name and he can...
Yes the power eco button will still function as normal. With out the 5 speed ecu you will be running rich due to the fact the ecu is sending fuel for the smaller 390cc injectors that you replaced for the larger 450cc's.
Guys lots of bad info here. The 1G 450cc are ok for 15ish psi with stock pump granted there are no boost leaks the rest of the system is up to snuff. He is running the small 390cc injectors so with out a logger I would only push 11-12 psi.. Also to run the 450cc injectors and not go hog ass rich...
its tigerjapanese or jdmtigerjapanese. Not jdmtigerjap motors or what ever you kept saying! Are you sure you bought a motor there since you dont even know their name?
Gear ratios are different, however the transmission will work if you seal the hole. Back in the day that is what FWD guys would do snag a built awd trans and rock it. That of course was before Shep and the bunch started doing fwd stuff..
