I don't see this ending well for you detonation is a very bad thing. Im no techy guy but if you cut the spark it will still put fuel in the cylinders. So the next time it fires there would be to much fuel in the cylinders. I could be wrong but I would rather spend the money on an already made up...

i have found a few posts about how to put a 2g trans in a 1g. why is this done, is a 2g trans better then a 1g?

I had to same issue with mine and if you replace the end clutch should fix it. 5150dsm is correct and its pretty easy to do

I have 2 4g63 6bolt motors they have bad valves blocks good

Im no guru but I don't see it causing any problems you will have a gasket there anyway

You could cut the bolt down or buy a longer belt

i ditched mine for weight reduction and cluter for my scca racing but it is also my DD im wishing i hadnt removed now.

I have 92eclipse 2.0 non turbo I just rebuilt my overdrive and it works great but when im cruising and mash on the gas it just revs up but if normally accelerate its fine or if I manually shift its fine what is going on

resolved i just bought the engine from a junk yard in topeka and i was told it had 160 compression and so i didnt think to check that but i did last night and cylinder #1 was 0 so i put some oil in the cylinder and it went to 25 the others range from 155 to 170 so i dont know what im going to do...

i agree but im having the same trouble, i find a nice car great price, pics look good, i get there drive the car is worse then they portrade. then they wont come down on the price because everyone and thier mother is a mechanic or an idiot one guy even told me he couldnt go down on the price...

sounds solid but i do think the asking price is a little high

100 mm crank set up will give you extra displacment but with being in corners most of the time i think a 94 mm would fine ive read on other forums that the 94 is more reliable. dont know how true that is. but i did road races with a 94 mm. (DSM wiseguy step in anytime)..... but its up to what...

at .40 bore the cylinder walls get thin if you get it to hot or push it to hard, you risk cracking your block. but good find welcome the the site.
