Yes the T3 flange is the most popular for the 420a-turbo setups. However, if you had to ask that question I'm going to advise you to do alot of research before attempting to install this.Best of luck!
Glad to hear someone say that. I watched him come off the bench time after time here in Houston, and most of the time he out performed the starting QB. He had a couple of big blunders this past year, but I think he deserves the starting role soon.
I don't remember there being a hard line on the filter. That should just be a banjo connection. The fuel pump assembly has 2 hard lines coming off of it that are easily kinked when tampered with. If you did kink those, the only solution is get a new assembly.
Just stick with the modular set up.There are 4 bolts that you need to screw in. Only 3 of them are on the same axis, so it only goes on one way, do not try to force a bolt if it goes in crooked or any other unnatural way.
Man, it can be a number of things honestly. Did you notice any weird symptoms before it died? Was the car at normal operating temperature? It could be a sensor, could be timing, could be the fuel pump etc.. First things first, make sure you're getting fuel and spark. As for the tow truck...
Neon ECU isn't fully compatible. You can run one as a last option if yours goes out and you find one for relatively cheap, but don't do it if max. performance is on your mind. Also, lose the SAFC2. Pretty big waste for the 420a.
Laser: No, I was offered a great trade in value so I took it.I probably won't mess with the suspension. The difference in ride quality from the DSM is night and day. I love the quietness of it and how smooth it is; I definitely don't want to compromise that. I've been looking into basic...
I've already contemplated modding, trust me. However, I got the car to be a reliable means of transportation to and from school, so it's definitely staying N/A. How far I decide to take the N/A capabilities though, remains to be seen..:sneaky:
The IS200s aren't anything special, especially stock (power-wise). They're quick, but like I said nothing special.I won't be doing too much modding to mine, like I said I got it for reliability. It's a very quiet ride, I'm not sure if I want to throw that out for exhaust.
Eh, that's semi true. I can see how a consumer could worry about that, but the computer part of the PS3 was far more advanced compared to other systems than the sega was in its prime. Plus, as it's been stated, PS3 has the bluray capability. This not only gives the PS3 multiple uses, but allows...
Well, after many years with my DSM(which was my first car), I've moved on. It wasn't necessarily because I wanted to, more that I needed to. I needed a newer, more reliable car as I'm planning to attend a new college that requires a bit of driving day in, day out. Of course I'll be sticking...
I love my PS3. I've played both PS3 and 360 and I highly recommend the Playstation. It is a shame that the sales are down, but with so much money invested in making the system, it's got to have a high price tag in order for Sony to survive.Uni is right though, Killzone 2 sucks. Probably one...
He may have been involved in comebacks game after game, for the what 4 or 5 years he's been in the league(I can't remember the exact number), but how about Brett Favre, who's been the 4th quarter king for the 20 years? What about John Elway? Big Ben is good, he just has a lot more to prove...
I think the excitement of the superbowl win got to you a bit here.. Either that, or you haven't been watching football for very long. He has a long way to go before earning that title.I think the penalty calls were pretty equal at the end of the game. I had nothing against the Steelers...
In post 6 you said the problem was the same when you took the spacer off..I highly doubt this will last long. The pipe is in no way touching the battery?
Take it back apart and check the surface, as mentioned. Also go over all the vacuum lines around the TB. It's hard to work on something in that area with out using your hand for support. You easily could have accidentally knocked one loose.Weird, my car makes a whistling sound between shifts...
I am, but I do not have any pictures readily available. My inlet is on the passenger side, and the piping come off the turbo to the passenger side, above the IC and down to the passenger side inlet. *The inlet is curved upwards*
Not necessarily. If you haven't modded your car at all yet, then definitely not. Start with Intake/Headers/Exhaust. Those will be more beneficial to you than this pack.If however, you are in need of a new coil, the SD would be the one to buy.
RS you might want to check for leaks my friend. I've had a 4 psi spring in my car - gauge read 4 psi. I've had a 6 psi spring - gauge read 6 psi. I've had an 8 psi spring - gauge read 8 psi.
OP - There is already very little room to work with on 420a when it comes to turbo. Like PCD said, if we were to add a spacer the radiator fans become even more of an issue than they already are.
The initial rev is normal. As long as it's a smooth idle at 800 it sounds fine.Re-pull the codes, still be sure to fix the problems causing them. Be sure not to write them off just because the car runs now!
The sensor could be on its way out, causing it to function differently at different temperatures. Regardless of whether it should or shouldn't run, there is something wrong with the sensor which needs inspection.
