10g wire, as for a inline fuse you have to know how much AMP draw the fans are going, so lets say you have a 15 amp draw fan it can spike between 15-20 different fans demand different loads and as the load increases the more AMP is draw, so you will need to figure out how much AMPs your fans...
Cars running alittle hot 15 degrees F more than what i want it at, I am going to do a coolant flush and add some water wetter, was wondering what type of coolant you use and what mixture % is best, summer is coming and right now its not going below 40 degrees F, i was thinking a 60% water 40%...
Going to be upgrading the fan on my GSX, the driver side one stopped working theres power and voltage to the connector but the fan motor stopped, any suggestion on a good fan upgrade? also i am concerned about connector hook-up and what i need for it. i was thinking a slimline fan...
Me and a buddy of mine were picking out a exhaust for his GST, he doesn't have much money and he found this product herehttp://meganracing.com/products/product_detail.asp?prodid=210&catid=91However hes not sure if he should go with the 2.5 inch or the 3 inch set-up. He also wants to buy a...
yea thats a good sound for it.. sounds like a screaming jet, i double checked vacuum hoses and intercooler piping again, and there all fine. im guessing its starved of oil or the wastegate isnt fully shutting.
well the owner of this car is a female shes not going to race it, shes not a tuner she jsut had a blown turbo, but jesus i cant figure this out worth a damn, i know its not right.
Porting is good however expensive, but worth it. Make sure if you port you get it done by a professional, send it to a machine shop its worth it (unless ## gasket matching) if you do it yourself do NOT go over a half inch (1/2") into the head on both exhaust and intake side otherwise u risk...
I just installed a t25 turbo (directly from mitsubishi) on a 2g, the owner blew up the original turbo so i installed the turbo same exact one, new everything, however this turbo whistlse like a bi*** when it spools up, its extremly high pitched, its not leaking oil and it creates boost and...
could be your spark, ive had this happen to me where the spark wire was loose on the coil, also could be your lifters clicking. its nothing to really worry about unless its excessive, you should maybe only hear this when i idle. i simply just cleaned mine.
you may have a bad cyclynder, it may still hold pressure but not distribute or you could check fluids. also could be that the clutch needs to be tightened or replaced.
yes, most mechanics (yes possibly your uncle to) really slack on repairs, they do it improper. for instance my friend had his engine rebuilt by a shop, heres the short story.Car wouldnt start he took it in (place changed ignition timing, btw WRONG MOVE it should have been fine)car picked...
i suggest you take it to a pro, they are a real pain to install when u have headliner and everything interior hooked up already. pay the 100-200 n let the pro do it.
why would you want a clear timing belt cover? Just go to your local hardware store buy sum primer and a nice colored glossy paint. problemed solve.. it looks nice!
definatly could be other problems. it might be your heads but it could be your engine internals and your valve. when my car oberheader a main bearing spun on the crankshaft.
I told you when you came over, upgrade your ignition :) and do a wire ground diagram. here are all the links youll need. MSD Wires NOPI Part # 922+8933Spark Plug NOPI Part number 901+0854And the do-it-yourself Ground diagram

Just got a used turbo, and im rebuilding it. my question is that i work at a hardware store and i have copper and aluminum tubing, can i use this tubing instead of the steel oil return line? i have the right size to do it with just wonderd if it would hold the pressure. any comments? the...
Compression test. Turbo shaft play / cracks in manifolds / leaks in intake - exhaust / timing belt change (a big one) / Fuel delivery / spark - wires / Wheel alighnment. check all of these and if your good then you got ONE HELL OF A STEAL! and welcome to the forum.
i bought a pacesetter header on ebay, for 40$ and they SUCK HORRIBLY! the gaskets are actually GREAT! only if u get the surface on the headers machined to a nice smooth surface. the header did crack only on the welds. the tubing is good material but the welds SUCK ASS!! i still use them today...
Since your new i would get a whole new intake system (hard piping / K&N Filter) replace all the vacuum hoses, more or less the ones that come from the turbo and throttle bodt and intake manifold, i would then get an exhaust setup. complete that and u will be very happy.
it could be, proper pressure is a big importance. make sure you dont have any oil leaks from any of the return lines, that was a big problem for me. Also my turbo took a crap on me because it went bad when my engine over heated. make sure you have no turbo leaks.
Any GOOD muffler shop mostly individually owned ones will do anything the customer wants! You can somewhat legaly have a no-cat exhaust system installed if your just building a race vehicle and have a racing permit.
THAT A BOY!!! your now The_Anti_Cali dont let anyone boss you around to what u can n cant do, tell them its a show car or sumthing and that it doesnt get ran, buy a beater and run that and say u drive that n then drive your real automobile.
did u check all the fluid? it could be a substancial amount of water build up in the tank, it would cause white smoke, did u purge ur fuel line? take off your fuel pump relay and start your car (crank it over) il run all the fuel out of the injector and fuel rail then die, then get a bucked and...
no it shouldnt crack at all, ive jacked up many DSM before jsut on one side never had it happen. you probably had the crack and it just got cold or sumthin.
yes it is hard to get a wrench in there, i had the same problem when my friend got a J-pipe with no fasteners, he ran and got HEX heads, gotta love a gear wrench ^_^
did u clean the surface? :) sanded it down to polished cast iron? a clean surface is needed! with no rust, because rust makes the bond alot worse, and the penny must be clean, if you dont have muratic acid to soak it in just use coca cola :) try it again with proper preperations, if you already...
This question is getting alot of attention (How / What i need to rebuilt my engine) i just rebuilt mine go to this WEBSITE and pick out what you need, i purchased the 7bolt 2g and it runs smooth.
if its aluminum, no its its stainless steel no, if its thin steel, yes it can be done but it is VERY HARD to do so, you need not a propane torch but a Oxygen or the yellow bottle one, i cant think of its name, the yellow bottle one burns hotter, and you need to have a connector that can handle...
that is a EVO III im pretty possitive because on the 2g there is a small lip on the compressor housing connection. and the baffle is bigger on the picture one.
more or less ul have to shave some of your front bumper off using a dremel or any cutting tool. to mount it get pipe hangers you can find these in the plumbing section in hardware stores, get 2 straps and 4 sheet metal screws and screw 2 into the FMIC one on each strap and the other two mostly...
youl need to customize the piping. i would just get alot of 90 degree and 45 degree bends and some stright pipe and figure out how to run it then i would weld the pieces together.
any hardware store should have a selection of nutz and bolts, you can use anytype of head jsut that HEX/ALLEN is preferable. Ace Hardware carries an AWESOME selection of fasteners, more than #### depot and lowes / menards.
no its for a turbo car just with a aftermarket BOV, the easiest solotuon is go to ur nearest hardware store and bring the hoses that u needed to reconnect, find plastic barbed fitting that will fit your vacuum hose, drill a hole in your intake and epoxy the fittings in there then ul have your...
thats a big problem, your DSM as does any vehicle run off vacuum hoses, they jsut route air to sensors telling your car what to do. fix that quick ul feel a difference.
i would get the FMIC and the injectors before you get the turbo upgrades, it will save you time and it will be done in the proper steps. you can get the turbo upgrade first but u wont have as good of response as you would by going with the FMIC and injectors first.
ofcourse u can bondo and paint them! thats what bondo does! and if the bondo is properly mixed with the hardener it will surley hold up. when u buy the bondo make sure you read the intructions and follow them to the T, and wear gloves n a mask.
