So wheres the cheap coilovers for us AWD guys?

What paint did you use? Does it feel like it will last? What does it do if you try to sratch it with your finger nail?

I painted my cailpers with 1600F high heat red and they still look great. That paint will only sustain 1600F for a little while. Its made to hit that temp and come down around half that.

If its rice or nice is up to you. Ill try and look for my pics of my old interior. I went back to stock colors for now. I was thinking of just removing the dash altogether and building my own.

any other size than stock will affect performance one way or the other. I have 17s with 45 series tires with a 1.5" drop and i love the look. Not sure about offset though

My pillar kept falling down with my 3 gauge pod. So I did what a lot of people prolly did, screw it in. Just a small black screw at the top into the metal frame underneath.

I have 17x7 enkeis. I originally had 235/45/17 road hugger. Now I have 225/45/17 sumitumos. Overall I like the 225s better but the 235s had more grip and handled better. I chose the 225 mainly because they dont stick out the fender like the 235s.

The only thing I can think of is some kind of freaky electrical problem. You always could just disconnect the temp gauge and buy an aftermarket one.

To be absolutely sure you have to jack up the car, unbolt the downpipe, take the tcase off (5 bolts) and count the splines on the output shaft.

Its most likely your input shaft bearing. I had this problem but just bought a used tranny and that fixed it. :cool:

I take the front wheels off, both axles, intake piping, battery, downpipe to o2 housing bolts, and tcase off. Also starter and ground wires and misc shit. Then I remove all bolts from tranny then wiggle that bi*** to the ground. A very small tranny jack would be superb. Or just get a friend...

Dont have a 2g so dont really know where youre looking. But if its loose definately tighten it. Can you turn it by hand? Check your manual in the drivetrain section and you should be able to find a torque value.

Well nobody answered my question prolly because I answered my own. :coy: I pulled the tcase off and there my axle was, halfway out. I didnt bolt the carrier bearing up and after an hour of driving the axle popped out and leaked all the damn fluid out. So I cleaned the smell bad off...

There could be some things loose or almost stripped or something of that nature. If you're taking it to a mechanic anyways then just tell em your mounts were broke and check stuff out.

Splines are prolly different so you might need a different output shaft or different tcase. Also the shift cables you have will work, it'd just be better to get 90 cables.

Sparks plugs removed? Alot easier with them out. I dont know exactly why it is easier at times but its normal. If youre worried about hitting the valves, you will notice it if it does happen. Basically itll stop turning.
