    It looks like that coupler would work, but it might not be long enough. You have to get your uicp in there clamp it and it has to reach down to the IC outlet and clamp that. I have one thats 2.5" to 1.75" but is longer than 3", I've had the uicp blow off a time or two because I didn't have it...

    I know that you will be putting this in your 1g FWD (hopefully). Did you think about AWD at all. I know the 4D68 that came in the RVR was AWD. Since the 4D65 and 4D68 are similiar 1.8l to 2.0l respectivily, is that a possibility? Or are there other differences?

    There is an oil pressure sending unit which that wire plugs into. When its light out or get a flash light its on the bottom of the oil filter housing.

    If your trans mount is bad or your missing one of the bolts to the mount, the back of the trans will sit lower and when the starter engages it doesn't mess with the flywheel

    Check your radiator cap. You can run straight H20, but I would still run coolant just run a mixture with more water. Go to a place that free A/c checks and they'll be able to tell you if you have low refrigriant or have a clog.

    90 DSM's have 22 spline and the 91-94 have 23 splnes. Count the splines on the shaft to make sure.

    Are your injectors are pulsing? They should have 12v on the one pin and should have a switched ground on the other. Check your timing and that all the plug wires are in the right location. I also see that you have ecu+ in your profile check your fuel and timing settings.

    You can run just as much boost with the 8.5:1 as the 7.8:1, its all about the tune.

    There are many TD04hl just like there are many TDO5's. There is TD04HL-9b, 13g, 13t, 15g, and 15t. I know the TD04HL-13g is off the jdm engine, also there are some 13t's on the 7 bolt jdm's. I'm not sure about the 15g, he should post a pic with the serial # to make sure its a 15g.

    The maft gen II can use a wideband O2 for tuning, for that reason the maft gen II is better in my opinion.

    Definitely get boost gauge, it should be the first mod to any turbo dsm. If you have a boost gague you can see what psi your pressurizing the system to.

    The MAFT Gen II is a little different, but in order to take advantage of its new features and tuning, you need a wideband. I would look towards the eprom ecu route and then you can always get dsmlink if you want it.

    If you wire as the S-AFC manual states it should be reading half. go into the set up the the S-AFC set it as a 2 cly and it will read correctly. This is due to the way our coil pack is set up. If you use the VFAQ wiring then you can have is set as a 4 cly.

    The spline count is different on the transfer case on the 90's, so you need to use the 90 trans with a 90 T-case and vice versa. You could put the the 90 trans and transfer case in a 92.

    If your swapping the 90 into the 93 then your better off using the 93 TB and CAS so you don't have to change the wiring. Your going to have to switch the 2 wires for the ecu. You also may have a problem with the tach signal, the wiring for the transistor is different from the 90 to the 91-94...

    As for the 90's the have an extrenal oil cooler, opposed to water oil cooler. Some of the 90 ecu's are eprom, to get a 90 ecu to work in a 91-94 you must switch around 2 pins(9 and 14 I believe). There cruise control is set up different. The coil packs are different, tach signal is different...
