Nathan. I do have a custom "biss" that I rigged in order to fine adjust the ISC that I had. I could use that. But it's also very easy to adjust the TB plate with the adjustment screw and re-sent the TPS. I'm going to give it a try and see how it performs. Thanks for replying man!

Dsmpt is right. You most likely have the wrong belt size. Try getting a slightly smaller belt. This way you won't have to turn the rod that much to get the required tension. I know what you mean. On my particular setup, I had the same thing happened to me. So I took the adjustment rod to a machine shop and had them shave some material around the rod. This allows me to turn the rod and increase belt tension without the same rod making contact with the alternator.

Just a thought. Did you check for boost/vacuum leaks on the afpr? They tend to leak on the adjustable stud/nut.
