1 electrical oil pressure, NO SENDER, summit sells them for like 30 bucks. Also, 1 mechanical boost gauge. needs the nylon tubing, can be bought for like 2 dollars. They light up to factory gauge colors and look really good at night. OP Gauge goes to 100 PSI, boost gauge goes to 3 bar...
my talon is totalled, they are giving me the opportunity to take my rims off the car as long as i replace them, and the rims i need to replace tehm cost about $160. trying to decide if its worth the cash.
how much would 18" racing hart C2 wheels (single piece) be worth? Most are in good condition, one has some road rash, they have moderate tires on them but nothing special (Ventus).
anyone here have some old wheels i can buy off you? any wheels will work, preferably 17" so i know they will fit over the AEM brakes but anything will work!
working out details, but i can have my dsmlink and my rims off the car, just have to replace them with stockers. you said you are in AZ til like may june right, i will have a clear answer about the shell for you by then.
need a factory non eprom ECU and $400 cash for the dsmlink, aluminum wheels (factory or whatevers cheap that will cover AEM brakes) plus $650 for 18" racing hart c2 wheels and ventus tires.
this baby is still for sale...richard has seen the car if anyone has any questions. not perfect, but potential to be a monster and i still daily drive it.
my car is for sale. 96 eagle talon tsi awd w/no sunroof, crower/wiseco motor, ets race FMIC, ported and polished head with 264/272 cams etc.if you want the shortblock and car, i could do that.
ive got a 2gb eclipse bumper and headlights right now. dont think i can afford a new bumper anymore anyway but mine has a huge scratch from when i hit a car hah
im sitting here and my car wont move. i turn the key and it just goes ZZZZZZ really loudly, thats it, i cant even tell if its trying to turn over. sounds awful. i dont know what it could possibly be or anything i can do to get home. any ideas?
i was there 2 days ago didnt see anything that caught my eye as far as a hood (LOTS of front end damage) but i will go back and double check. those cars are the definition of picked over, im surprised i found my reverse lights.
i never read about having to take the crossmember off anywhere before though, isnt there a way to do it without it? and i dont have the tools to do all this stuff i moved to a new state and all i have is a small box of stuff.
but theres no way a 12mm socket is going to fit in teh tiny spot allowed to get the back bolt off that holds that to the transmission, i can barely get it through that little crevice at all, much less specifically there...
i cannot for the life of me get the slave cylinder off. its only 2 12mm bolts, but the one i can reach is so frozen i cant move it at all, the other is like, directly under the crossmember, so how are you supposed to remove that bolt without dropping the crossmember?
i live in boca and i have to replace my slave cylinder, i think i have all the tools but just want someone to make sure i do it properly, as well as some other weird stuff going on with it. mostly slave cylinder...if anyone can come i can give you some money or buy you lunch tomorrow. thanks...
my car needed a new starter recently, so i replaced it. after about a week, it got harder and harder to start the car, it would crank slow etc, then it got to the point htat it wouldnt even start. so today i pulled starter, took it to autozone to get checked and it worked fine. took battery...
