I'd run a compression test and then a leak down test, from the video it does sound like a bent/stuck valve, I'd ask the person who inspected your valves how he did so, sounds like he just did an eye ball test.

do you have a aftermarket boost gauge, if your not boosting then your wastegate is open, if your over boosting it's stuck closed, if your set a certain boost and maintain that boost your good to go.

sounds like you are running extremely rich with it plugged in, with it unplugged your letting all the air it wants be sucked in to counter act all the fuel being dumped in leveling out the richness, you are going to need to find the real problem thats causing the stuttering problem with it...
pull the oil pan and check and see if you have oil squirter's you might just have a fully 1g n/t 7 bolt motor.if you do have them you have a turbo block with n/t pistons
if you don't have them it's n/t all the way.

I would advise to put your ecu in his car, and test. If something is wrong with your car that caused you to blow your ecu, sometimes it can cause the same thing with the next one.
