I may show up to this one but the Colt won't be a roller until next year. Hopefully going to have the engine in by late July/August. Even by the next MOD it may not be drivable.

If your mechanic thought that the car wasn't worth saving over such a small issue you should start looking for a new mechanic.

Easy fix, take it to a competent body shop and have them cut out the previously repaired portion of the shock tower and replace it with new metal. Not rocket science.

Sorry to hear. From the looks of those pictures and how far the radiator support is pushed back I am going to say there is quite a bit frame damage and it will never drive right again... no matter what you do.

What Magnaflow muffler are you running? I had a 3" in/dual 2.5" out magnaflow with no resonators on my old gsx and it was tits! Nice and low with a growl at WOT!
