for stock i'd say it's too big. I did 2.5in short route piping on my FMIC that routed the UICP between the intake and trasnmission, so if you're planning on taking this route im pretty sure 3 inch piping would be a pain.

You can buy universial pipes on ebay, but it will be close to impossible to find hard pipes for a 2nd gen with an evo core. My suggestion is you buy one of the universal kits and alter the piping so it fits right for your applicatoin.
