I have had a 91 Laser RS and now own a 94 GSX... The Laser would have probably had the GSX by at least 2 or 3 car lengths in 1/4 mile...These are fun road cars..

Because I have had the FWD and the AWD..... They both put out nearly the same horsepower, however, with AWD the power is divided by four wheel instead of two, and the AWD weighs more...

I had a 91 Laser, RS,,,, I never have seen an AWD Laser....

FWD is quiker, but AWD handles better and is a sno mobile in the snow...

You can have the filter SOAKED and dripping in the mineral oil, and no harm will occur.... I have done it...

I don't believe there was an AWD Laser..... EAGLES and ECLIPSE GSX only....

ONE CAVEAT.... The filter takes about two hours to service.... Once removed from the car, the cleaner is soaked on it for at least 10 minutes... Then the filter is washed with water, then it must dry... Then reoiled...., before it is reinstalled in the car....

I took mine to the dealer, replaced timing belt, ballance shaft belt and a new tensioner with a new pump, came to 880.00!!!

My wifes cars would stutter at 4000 rpms.... Changed the wires and the plugs... All ok so far...The plastic boot at the wire end had been arcing inside the valve cover area...

I bought our 94 new in 95... 94 ECLIPSE all wheel drive tubo, loaded with leather, sun roof, sound system etc... Sticker was 23,300...We paid 19000.00. Dealer was not stocking the Mitsu line any longer and that was his last one.... White with the black on top...

Check the plugs, and the plug wires...Wifes car wouldnt climb a hill... Took 20 minutes.... very easy...Also the air filter...fuel filter... Could be stale fuel too...

I just did my wires and plugs.. Notice that the plugs were fairly loose.. Also some oil from valve cover... Took 20 minutes to change plugs and wires...One wire was white in the plastic boot area of the plug side... No wonder it missed!!!

Took the 94 Eclipse to the dealer over a year ago for a miss that occured at or around 4000 rpms.. Dealer replaced plugs, however the problem did not go away... Today, I bought a set of plugs, NGKs and a set of wires, "Beldins"... Total price with a sparkplug boot puller and a tube of anti seize...
