I did a boost leak test recently and I found a very good sized leak probably on the TB shaft seals. So, I'm just going to replace them and while the TB is off, I was deciding whether I should block off the FIAV and blocking off both the FIAV and ISC. I know that some people have had trouble...
Hello all, I was hoping I can get some insightful opinions on my situation. I have a 96 gsx, the same on my profile, and I am thinking of selling it. I currently have an old co-worker of mine that is very interested in it and all I have to do is give him an answer of whether or not I am going...
I'm not really looking into an evo or sti or anything like that. I have lost most of my faith in Mitsubishi for the whole dreaded crank-walking fiasco I went through. As for the rx-7, I always liked those cars but I have heard of several severe problems revolving around their engines...

Well, I've looked through just about every thread that has the words "battery relocation" in them and I've decided to give it a shot but I have a couple questions before I start. First, I researched the sealed aluminum battery box from Taylor (p/n TAY-48103) and it claims that it is NHRA legal...
Well it's that time, I need to get my car smogged. I've been searching for a little while now and now I'm not sure my car will get through, even if I buy a high flow cat.My mods are listed in my profile. I am somewhat worried about a couple of things with the OBD II and sniffer test...
Actually odd thing about that. My Apex'i TT is giving me a bad reading on the o2 sensor. It reads 20:1 AFR. Also, how would I actually test the front o2 sensor to see if it is bad? Thanks.
Well, I'm tired of problems but here is another one. My idle is irregular, very irregular. I have a modded TB w/o FIAV. What happens is that when my car is idling at a stop, it would idle at 1100 one time and 700 at another time. It almost never goes to a good idle. It happens all the time...
I'm about to get some 97-99 side skirts w/end caps painted and I read that plate on the firewall which says the color trim is W40. I did a search on that and came up with nothing. I may be reading it wrong because it is pretty faded but the 4 is pretty distinguished. Now, I don't want to...
My cousin played when she was around 8 for about 4 years. That was the end of her contract with her parents. She was able to sight read and play some of beethoven's harder-to-play pieces. She regrets quitting too. I wish I had started at a much earlier age.
My neighbor actually has one that I can probably get for free, it's owned by the landlord he is renting from and I might get a deal on it if it's not free. It looks really old, lots of dust and the wood had swelled somewhat. Looking underneath at the gizzards, some of the strings look oxidized...
Well, off to a new serious hobby. I am seriously considering getting a piano. Now, I know how to play a little piano, I started less than a year ago, but I don't know anything about buying pianos or their anatomy/what to look for. If somebody can point out a good website or give me some...

Where are your boost sources? I have a similar problem with having 2 different boost readings from my gauge and my spec 2 bc. They are getting their source from different locations so that will cause the different readings. Get the same source or just increase the warning level on your bc.
Haha, that really reminds me of the South Park episode with Cartman doing that hand puppet thing named Jennifer Lopez. Hehe.Just imagine the people dancing to that song. Luckily, I have yet to hear the horror of most of her music thankfully.
Actually, when my dad went to Europe, Italy specifically, the people over drove very close to one another. They would change lanes if there was a 10 ft gap next to them. Weird, and he never heard any honking. This may just be the area he travelled around, so I can't say all of Europe is like...
Yeah, that looks like the right answer. I did it with different values of distance between the poles and still got 12m.I got get into math more. Last time I took a serious math class was about 3 1/2 years ago.
Hate to bump this.Mavisky, how did your fiancee do on the test?Anybody else have any other input? How difficult is it to actually get a job as an EMT? Thanks.
Stinkin SUVs. They guzzle gas, rollover, and aparently only carry one person at a time. Sorry to hear about the damage. You're lucky that there wasn't too much damage. And good thing you didn't swerve and have a good chance of hitting another car on the side than brake.
I can't seem to find any at either school I go to. There are a couple of supras and one turbo rsx-s that supposed to run 13s. This is at SF State. At City College of SF, only hondas n' stuff, maybe a couple of stangs but that's it.
A couple of locals around here are using this manifold and I have yet to hear any substancial performance complaints about it. 98EclipseRS should have some more reliable input on this.To the original poster:And also, please keep this project updated. So many of these things are talked...
That's less than property tax over here.I'm paying 200/mo. full coverage under my mom's name. I'm 21, driving since 18, clean record. *Knock on wood* Location has to do with a lot too. If i were down south in the more suburban area, my insurance would be something around 100-120/mo.
Cool, thanks for the replies. Eventually, depending if I still want to stay in EMS, I'd like to be a firefighter/paramedic. I had heard of a couple of graphic stories in the business, that's probably why I'm getting anxious about it. Thanks, Eclipsed!:thumb:
Cool, thanks for the replies. I wanted to know how bad/hard the job really is. I've never really got a straight answer from anybody about it. I'm sure that I'll lose more than one meal on the job. I've bought a few books on Emergency care and I'm not a big fan of heavy machinery accidents...
I'm curious to see if there is anybody that had been or is currently employed in the field of EMS. I'm looking for EMTs and paramedics, specifically. I got questions about your jobs.:thumb:
