I was just fartin' around on the K&N site looking for some relevant info, and what vehicle is in the middle of the page? A 2G Talon! Nice :cool:BTW, I don't buy into K&N's claims or see the need to oil my air filter.
Not sure what you're asking. I think it's the "paid" word that messing me up.As for the OEM "boost" gauge, who the f*** knows. Just ignore it and get a real gauge (must have boost and vac).
Here's another link for the Plymouth people. IDK so does this look familiar?1997 Eagle Vision OEM Logo Original Dealer Key Blank NOS 97 | Amazingkeys.com

And someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the K&N filter (or at least, the old version) doesn't have the "open funnel" design at the beginning, like other filters (such as the one Extreme PSI offers) do. Years ago I remember seeing a "sales pitch" diagram where this was "scientifically"...
I personally like the ones Extreme PSI offers.EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance PartsAnd here is an old photo of Extreme PSI's intake kit, including the aftermarket filter.
Welcome Adam. There's much love and respect for Evo owners on this site, and some of us like swapping parts between the genres. ;)EDIT: Oh, more pix please?
I'm also looking at a Colt with the 4G15 (1.5L) to pick up. My goodness it's hard to find one with the sibling 4G61T! It's sooo frustrating being a "stealth" guy and wanting to go with a Colt but loving sexy and want to go with a 2G or Evo at the same time. Aaarrrggghhh!!! :banghead:
I thought it weird I think about all the prep work and personnel that goes into the F1s or other auto-racing cars (besides NASCAR - I hate NASCAR) when watching. Good to know I'm not alone.
FSMs marked "Mitsubishi Eclipse" is almost always (much) more expensive than ones marked "Eagle Talon". Just a lil known fact. :) That's why some of us Eclipse guys buy the Talon version, 'cause it's the same freakin' thing, just cheaper.
Yes, much cheaper than what I posted. Thanks for the link. :)EDIT: Here's the same set of manuals I have, and they are immediately available on eBay. :thumb...
Dude, if you got metal shavings in the oil pan (or on the ground?), you need to pull the entire engine out.As I said, you don't just want to have these manuals on hand. You absolutely must have the FSM (factory service manual) readily available to you.
Get a DSM service manual. :) Works wonders. Or you can use the CAPS software program. Just as good. Not Chilton or Haynes. Only from the factory (aka Chrysler or Mitsubishi).EDIT: Here's one on eBay currently...
