Generally 2g's will not have problems with leaking caps. As far as the FIAV, I'm honestly not sure if 2g's have them or not. Anyone know the answer to this and how to go about checking it? Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
I've recently taken my 98 gst back to stock, and have had some trouble getting the car to run well. When I start the car, the idle holds steady at approx. 1k RPM, then shoots up to 2500 or so, then falls back to 1000. It continues to do this until I turn the car off.Fixes I've tried:

I have done a leak test and didn't find any leaks. The hesitation does seem to completely go away whenever the car is over 3k. Plugs were just recently changed and wires are about 7 months old. My vac at idle is around 17 or so.

Because I blew my stock turbo and of course had to get a bigger one. And then for compatibility reasons came the fuel pump, injectors, fmic, safc, bov, exhaust, intake, clutch, suspension, etc etc etc etc.....And after all that, it doesnt run. :notgood:
I dunno if this will work, but I zip tied the bottom of the bumper tight together. I'm gonna leave it like that for a week and see if it reshapes it. Good ole zip ties.

In regards to the noise I'm hearing--- I tried starting the car again today and realized that the "buzz" coming from the tb area continues as long as the car is in the "on" position. I hope someone knows what this noise is, as it may be the cure for my problem once fixed.
26 lbs/min is way low for that turbo. If I remember right, the t25 is right around 25lbs/min and the EVOIII should be high 30's. Your air flow isn't really dependant on your intercooler, if anything, adding a fmic will drop your boost. Based on your fuel mods, you should be able to pump that...
