I does look like I have two coolant lines running to the tb. How do I block the FIAV?

Generally 2g's will not have problems with leaking caps. As far as the FIAV, I'm honestly not sure if 2g's have them or not. Anyone know the answer to this and how to go about checking it? Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have done a leak test and didn't find any leaks. The hesitation does seem to completely go away whenever the car is over 3k. Plugs were just recently changed and wires are about 7 months old. My vac at idle is around 17 or so.

Trying to narrow down a stuttering/misfire issue. I have two CEL's on, one for the MAP sensor, the other for the TPS sensor. I've replaced both to no avail. Tonight I noticed after starting the car and turning it off, when the key is turned to "on", there is what sounds like a grinding noise...

Its the plastic sensor that looks kinda like the tps or map sensors. Its bolted to the top of the pump.

Because I blew my stock turbo and of course had to get a bigger one. And then for compatibility reasons came the fuel pump, injectors, fmic, safc, bov, exhaust, intake, clutch, suspension, etc etc etc etc.....And after all that, it doesnt run. :notgood:

I dunno if this will work, but I zip tied the bottom of the bumper tight together. I'm gonna leave it like that for a week and see if it reshapes it. Good ole zip ties.

Are you talking the bumper support itself or just the metal brackets?

I honestly have no idea what I did with that piece. I dunno if that'd fix the proble either ### it was only a flemsly piece of metal.

Actually I took that bracket off due to a fmic install. Just the fiberglass is bent, and I try to bend it by hand but it doesnt fix it.

Hey guys---The other day I was backing out from a parking spot and the front bumper caught the cement and bent the bottom of my front bumper down. It doesnt look to be cracked, but it won't bend back into place. I'm just wondering if there's an easy way to reshape this so it's flat again...

"The noise is likely the ECU moving the ISC in and out. Twenty seconds is pretty long, on a initial power up the ECU might spend 5 seconds homing the ISC and maybe a second at shutdown.Like has been suggested check the battery voltage, but also let us know if you've had the capacitors...

Well the ECU was my last guess as far as what was wrong. Do you have any suggestions for what might be wrong based on my first post in this thread? I've checked compression, leaks, replaced the TPS, and the problem still lives.

Are you sayin take off the metal bracket? The three circles on the case don't have any type of screwdriver slot on them at all. Just plastic.

In regards to the noise I'm hearing--- I tried starting the car again today and realized that the "buzz" coming from the tb area continues as long as the car is in the "on" position. I hope someone knows what this noise is, as it may be the cure for my problem once fixed.

Well considering the t25 is capable of 25lbs/min, then I'd say no, that doesn't sound normal since it's a larger turbo.

26 lbs/min is way low for that turbo. If I remember right, the t25 is right around 25lbs/min and the EVOIII should be high 30's. Your air flow isn't really dependant on your intercooler, if anything, adding a fmic will drop your boost. Based on your fuel mods, you should be able to pump that...
