to be sure that it is a blown headgasket do a compresson check also. Im 95% sure that it is a blown head gasket beacuse the way you described it

normally there is a little bit of vibrationchecking the moter mounts just part the car and rev the engine in neutral if the engine moves excessively then a mount is bad. If not then it just might be normal(if anyone else has ways to check for bad moter mounts id be glad to hear them...

well if your worried about not stopping bigger brakes and roters will work. if you wanna get rid of the squeek then theres this anti squeak brake stuff that you can get at your local kregan or reibies auto parts store.also did you check your roters for warping or runout?

4x4 is no gaurntee that youll get through snow better then a fwd or rwd car it just means you have a better chance. Living in tahoe and watching tourists pass up my semi has shown me that 4x4 is great and all and it will get your started but stopping becomes a bit problmatic :p

also check the play on your clutch pedal. is it engaugeing near the end of the stroke on the pedal. If so adjust it so it engauges near the middle of the stroke. also try bleading the clutch system.If its not that syncros are going dead and tranny rebuild is in your near future

genrally when synchros go out its new transmittion time or rebuild time. And from your problem it seems that your syncros shot. I opted for a new tranny when my dodge truck synchro went out. So price a new transmittion and labor to install it if your not going to do it yourself.
