I dont think thats your turbo buddy...what makes you think it is coming from the turbo?have you ever looked through the numerous "lifter tick" threads? try searching for it and see if maybe that is what you are hearing.

When I first start my car up in the morning and get on it a bit, it feels like its going nowhere. Sometimes it also does it when the car has been driven, turned off, then started up again a while after while its still warm. Its not a boost leak. Any opinions on what to look for or why this is...

as far as knob quality, you get what you pay for...its really a completely personal thing. I like the stock knob and have replaced mine with another stock knob. I like the type R knobs but dont know if they fit or not.
