If 2Gs don´t use a speed density measurin system, what´s the MAP on 2Gs manifold for? Can anybody help me with it? I tried to find it using the search with no succes.Thank you in advance.
I guess that some of the guys here are talkig about a SC driven by en electrical motor. That´s why there is a paragraph talking about battery charge up there.
Thanks a lot, but I meant that I couldn´t recognise the separate UIP (they have an image of a separate piece) as of a 1G piece.
When looking at a 1G engine bay I can! ; )
So I just thought that they just put the 1G image to show how it´d fit as both are pretty similar, right? (in the matter uf...
Has anybody tested the UICP from Dejontool for a blow through setup? I have just seen it in their web but looks as if the BOV port is very close to the GM sensor. Is it convenient? To be that close? I guess that why should mount the BOV as far from the GM sensor as posible in a blow through...
The original air sensor works in a way that needs air to create "vortexes" around a part that it has in the inside; I guess that if air passing through it is denser than atmospheric pressure it wont work as it is supposed. Also, it´ll block the air much more that the LS1.
I think that it wont work if you don´t have a cycler or something that connects and disconnects the coil so that the high voltage (necesary to create the spark) is achieved.
Thanks a lot, guys!
Also, anybody has the O2 sensor part number? I want to have it in the case that I have to change it (I have been getting very bad MPG).
I recently did a 600miles trip at a 90mph average speed (cruise control most of the time) and the car did a 18,8MPG; considering it hasn´t any mods, what do you think? I´m worried about it consuming a bit much.
This is the web page of a friend from Brazil (member of the Brazil DSM club):
http://www.eclipsesatan.hpg.ig.com.br/His car is green but do not know if it is the same color that yours, check it out (he´s building a really nice Blitz like front bumper right now).
I just got a S-AFC, but previous to install it I would like to be sure; don´t you think that there could be something wrong in the engine to consume such a quantity of fuel? I make 200miles with 11,6gallons (aprox 17MPG in the city with normal traffic).
Guys, I am buying an used tach (Autometer Monster) for a friend of mine which lives far from here and want to test it on my car before paying for it. Anybody knows if it can be done without cutting any cable? (if it could be done from under the hood, much better!)Thanks
