I have a stage 4 with the sprung disc and it's been holding flawlessly. I have made several 12 second passes and it still performs like new. The engagment is little hard but you'll get use to it. I would recomment this stage if you're looking for a cheap performance clutch that is proven.

I think you should try looking at the wiring on your stutter box. I had that same problem when I wired my in. Make sure pin 104 is completely cut and no ground is touching it except the wire that came with the chip. The long wire (stutter box wire) should be connected to pin 104 wire going to...
