I adjusted my clutch pedal as in Jack Trans Video and at least I am able to drive it. I was contemplating selling it, but I think I'm going to keep it and Re-Work a lot of things... sigh.
I've been running a BEP/BW s362 for years. I ran a -10 drain and -4 feed from OFH. Turbo died and David said it was bc it got some type of debris. Had it rebuilt and bought FP Black inline oil filter. Turbo died again. Now this time I made the drain smaller in length and I lowered the oil...
I just ended up heating up the area of the water pipe and hit it with a hammer and a cylinder tube in between hammer and pipe. It's better than before, but could have done a better job at it too, oh well. Now I'm having troubles aligning my damn rebuilt turbo with the old drain line. The flanges...
How did this work out? My dad was telling me to do the same on mine. My pipe was crushed cpl of yrs ago by a shop and I measured it. It was crushed about 23mm! Instead of doing the same was thinking of a different solution. Also thought about adding another flange/spacer for FP mani.
Had to revive...Where did you get this spacer? And how thick is it? I had a shop do the work and they "crushed" it 23mm its O.D. is 35mm, so new O.D. is 12mm. That's why I'm trying to find a new way of hopefully not crushing the waterpipe. This is a s362 that I've had for 4-5yrs.
I have the UEGO, but it doesn't log accurately with Link. Thinking about switching to Innovative. Extreme has it for $190. My brother had one on his Turbo Integra 6years ago or so, and worked fine, but I do remember the gauge/screen acting up. Do not remember if it lost the screen completely or...
Check clutch pedal height/play, incorrect play will cause grinding. Check for leaks on the slave & master cylinder. FYI, it's best to come as close to a full stop before putting it in 1st gear.
Thank You BogusSVO, for the great service you provide to the DSM community. As for the flashing, which way is it recommended to be removed? Just take a drill to it?
When i put my B&M, I loved it. I wondered why I waited so long, I want it even shorter though. I replaced the skater bearings with brass bearings & put in the bracket bushings from Shep and that helped a lot too. I also have the base bushings done.
I forgot, I also have a 340g? Razo Shift Knob.
I have Clutch Net 6 puck clutch and I like it, But it is Not for a DD. Clutch gets very grabby once its warm. I have not tracked the car since the clutch has been replaced. I actually barely drive the car. The Fidanza 6 puck took a dump after the 1st street launch and I followed the break-in...
OK, thanks, now it got better and shifts better, and clutch doesnt seem to slip. Just 1 problem arose. Now it feels like the clutch line system needs to be bled. And engagement point is way lower, I'd say too low, closer to firewal, before it was right at the very top, not even 1 away from the...
I did the Outlander upgrade and it's noticeable upgrade. Not life changing, but it's pretty good. I have not been to the track/strip, but the other setup performed pretty well, I'm sure this setup is more than capable. Once all is bolted up it's not a big visual upgrade, but oh well, you can...
With cams and a big turbo, do you Really lose up top though? I don't think you lose, perhaps you don't gain as much as the other options, but I believe it's a good compromise. As Carol Shelby said: torque wins races.
I used Tq solution bushings and they were the easiest set to install. I also upgraded the side bushing of the levers with Sheps bushings, and pretty good upgrade, specially since the other were hella old.
I bought my Powerslots from a seller off of Ebay. It was $82.60 from seller: autoanything. They have their own site, but I haven't visited it, I did receive a mail magazine yesterday from them.I called 2 Mitsu dealers somewhat near me and both told me they dont have the brackets in stock, if...
I like to reddish/orange color, but not the 2 tone job. What type of paint and name of color did you use?I don't like those type of 2 tone though. I wonder if it would have looked better with 1 big opening instead of multiple.
And what is the knob in the middle of the rear bumper?
Good job...
I forgot to use the Lancer Ralliart as cross reference. I wonder if databases already do that? Or do I need to manually input a different car and see if it spits out different results?Sorry about 3 of the same posts, I was at work and had pc problems, took more than 5mins to load a damn page...
The Centric brake calipers that Rock Auto and other parts stores sell, Do carry the brackets along with calipers. I verified this through Centrics website. Unfortunately, rockauto does Not have a set. I searched other sites and other sites want a good amount for each caliper kit. Napa also has...
I found a Mitsu website selling the brackets for under $61. I put in this part #: MR307282 and it comes up as a 2011 Lancer Ralliart brake calilper.
Is it really the same bracket?
Thanks
STU:
What offset are the RPFs? Mine are 17x8 and +45/40 can't remember, leaning towards 40.
And what do you mean by you needed an "et35"? Is that offset?
I have 16" wheels for winter with winter tires, but I'm pretty much over the hump that it's almost impossible to use 16" with 3s vr4...
I had 2 rebuilt alt go bad on me. So I finally purchased an AC Delco unit from Rock Auto and so far so good. They're also 'built in America' so that was another plus on getting that alternator.
I'm tired of reading about 1gvr4, there's a lot of info, but a lot of trial and error too. I should just K.I.S.S. and do outlander rotors/brackets. Anywhere else besides mitsu and local yards one can get the brackets?
P.E.P you did end up getting Outlander calipers?
I'm thinking and planning what brake upgrade I shall go with in the near future. Really want 3kVR4 system, but I still want to be able to use 16" wheels for the winter.
Avefenix: No Bracket? What caliper 1gvr4 or 2gvr4? What rotors did you use then?
Thanks2slow: TunerNation doesn't exist anymore. Any other vendor? Why the use of gs350 rotors? Size?
Drove it to and from work, to lunch, etc for the past 2-3 days, cant remember. Now I won't be able to drive it, until I order some brakes for it. I knew it was too much of a good thing.
Crap. I rebuilt my engine a few years ago and didn't know about this. Fortunately, my car is still running great. I don't even remember what type of gear my engine had. Since its an early 7 bolt, it should have the helical gear. I hope it keeps up the good work.
