I have a gt35r with a .82 a/r t3 undivided turbine housing ported S cover. It's the best combo IMO for the 35r on a pump street car. I build power all the way to 9K with that TH. The divided TH is debatable on if it's any better then the non divided. I would definetly get a ported S cover...

If your going to be running a T3 dnp manifold then the choice is clear, 35r. The 3065 is a great turbo, I just think the hot side/turbine wheel is too small. I went with a 35r T3 .82 and I love it. Top end is just undescribable.

Sounds like it could be phanom knock comming from something literally knocking against the engine causing the knock sensor to pick up a false reading. Make sure there isn't anything bumping around on your engine or around your engine bay that could cause this.

That's the great thing about these turbos though. They were built to be on disel trucks running 25-30 psi on a daily basis and built to last 300,000 miles. If you can get one that's initially in good condition it will last forever.
