ive heard that the 1g's have 6 speakers, even with the base radio. i have the am/fm radio plus tape deck on the bottom. if i have 6 speakers, where are the other 2?

*UPDATE*ran a carfax and found it was involved in an accident in October of 08. Carfax provides an accident number, but new york state DMV will not provide information because of privacy laws. Anyone know what to do? Car stayed local btw...no records after accident, may have been totaled?

this car had a very identifiable fading square of paint behind the gas door where a chip was repainted with shitty paint. I think that is a dead giveaway, a "tatoo" if you will. It was about 4 inches by 4inches right before the taillight

Hi guys, I'd like to get leather seats for my 1g. I think it makes teh car look alot better inside. Anyways, what are my chances of finding mint leather seats for a 1g? They'd have to be tan, I have the tan and black interior. What color seats did they put in that color interior?

Figured it out. It does in fact save codes. Go to MMCd menu, click on test, then click on "read". Code 14 came up, the TPS sensor.

Its extremely easy. If you dont know how to do it, you shouldnt pick up a wrench. However its dumb, and I'd be really pissed if someone did that to a car I bought. Its that thing called class that alot of us seem to be losing these days.

Wrong. A variant of the 4g63 was used in the Starion, in the early 80's. It had a SOHC. I beleive (don't quote me on this), that a very distant version was used way back in the late 70's when Chrysler brought Mitsu into the American market.
