Yeah I got rid of it and bought an E85 450 lph and moved the stock sender and has been working fine these past few years. That full blown hanger is just nice looking junk.
LOL I have the TMZ clutch and Yes I experience this with the full ceramic disk but I have gotten used to it. The clutch sure as hell does not ever slip on the dyno anymore. but yes acts like a light switch.
Looking to upgrade my ignition system. Spoke to Keltalon who highly recommended them however when I go to the website it times out.
anyone have any info?
Definitely sounds accurate. I have Both the 3g booster and 3g master and I did mention that perhaps only changing the 2g booster to 3g was necessary while keeping the 2g MCwas sufficient. Or even vice Vera! I firmly believe.
Going to have it checked out tomorrow! ThanksNone taken going to hopefully find out asap.!getting the disk checked out tomorrow. The ACT fly wheel and clutch kit where all new when installed. Hopefully we will figure it out thx again Tim.
yes I saw where it said to get an Isuzu clutch master cylinder and I said forget that! Now isnt that 8 leg quratermaster like 1800.00,I was looking at the 6 leg but other than the price and the number of legs I am very curious about the difference.
Any advice on which Twin disc to get? I’m not a 1/4 mile drag racer but would like to run the car in 1/2 mile events. So basically NO LAUNCHING. Some street driving and roll racing.Whcih is the best twin disc to get that will not damage the input shaft or transmission period In the above...
I have about 5k on my SSX, no clutch drag, engages nicely had no issues till we try to dyno tune the car this past Saturday. I was only able to get TWO pulls on the car and both times the clutch just slips at 299ft lbs of the. Anyone have a similar experience? Called Tim twice and emailed him...
I had no issues getting replacement rotors for my stop tech kit.
I called Adam of buybrakes .com and he set me up. They were 239.00 a piece for the replacement rotors and they came with new replacement screws to bolt on to the hats. You must use a small torque wrench to properly replace the...
I have deleted mines. You can cap the hole with a npt nut fitting or like I did have a npt pipe fitting screwed in there with a rubber cap on the valve cover hole and same with the stock intake. 30 psi all day long no dipstick issues anymore with my dual sealed catch can setup hooked up to...
When you order the coil overs from Feal, the checkout says " chassis not compatible with radial bearing"s so I am confused! The 2g's do not use MacPherson struts. So I ordered with out the bearings
Are these coming out again and I thought that these would be bad for the shocks and give a harsh ride when changing the front bushing to poly on the stock arms and these custum ones pretty much have no bushing period ?Confused and just want to know.
Why didn’t you go with the INgersol solenoid ECM link recommends you to use? I had a MAC solenoid also but I refused to use it due to the specs ECM link says were required to run with the ECU. They post the specs of the IW solenoid and its compatibility with the ECU drivers. Maybe I am wrong but...
This thing works so well that the coolant temps are running low 180s in the winter and hover between 186 and 180 degrees when driving in the NYC spring. I must mention that my front bumper is vented, and DIY undertray, and I have ducting as well. The whole combo works excellent with keeping the...
I have the yellow ebc pads on Baer brakes with slotted rotors on my car for 2 years DD none of the above issues seem to be a problem but yes they do stop very well even on cold stops. They have me hesitant about putting on my 4 piston stoptechs the car stops so well.
Kelford 272s and the GSC2s are great cams regardless of that chart!! Everyone will post different results . That card is not the HP gospel. Keltalon has proved that and he has BC 272s and makes over 700plus whp so everything depends on ones tune and setup.
Bringing this back.Support with rubber fuel line? This makes no sense!I have had this Toyota seal setup on my car now 4 years without an issue. I Installed it just like gst_racer shows in the pic and put it in the metal cup.Best way is just put the seal in the metal cup first...
I’m hating this hanger. Now it appears that fuel is traveling up the actual full blown harness. The harness gets wet when I fill up the tank full and the whole car smells like fuel again. Man the design of this thing really sucks. Guess I will go back to my stock hanger with my 400 lph pump...
Just did this setup which also includes hoses and T- fittings for the top ports (not shown) and everything cost me no more than 150.00 Love it!:hellyeah: Thanks Paul!
Paul to these cause quite a bit of vibration in the cabin and what is the shelf life on the factory 2 g bushings. My car has 82k original miles. Yes very low for a 20 plus year old car.
If I had to do it again I would just change the Master cylinder to a 3G/2K plus Galant first using the stock brake booster and see how it works. I am still under the belief that just the MC with the stock 2g BB and Evo brakes will work fine. It has been done.
I would call Baer up and inquire about the eradispeed 2 piece rotors that came with the old 2g kit. I am sure those rotors are still available. Mines are slotted and not drilled 2 piece and they are excellent.
Can you just go eradispeed 2 piece then? More expensive but I believe are available. That is what I have and will soon be changing so I can put on my Stoprech setup. Rotors and calipers.I will admit my baer setup with the 2 piece rotors works flawless. Lighter than the stoptechs and sometimes...
