I removed some tints recently. The side windows were pretty easy. When it came to the rear hatch, the top layer came off no problem, but the colored bottom layer did not. Now its impossible to get the bottom layer off with a razor blade, it wont peel, it just breaks off.I searched and found...
Im contemplating getting one of these to put in some Autometer oil pressure and water temp gauges. For anybody who has this piece, can you comment on the fit and finish and post some pics if you have them.
It does angle up slightly, but its not noticable unless youre looking at it from a low perspective. In terms of being functional, I think most people would say thats not high on their priority list when shopping for a lip. If you are really woried about keeping the nose down at very high...
Here are some pics of the 2gb splitter I make:With a lip that hangs down 2 inches, this is very true. A splitter barely reduces ground clearance at all, I have driven with mine for almost 2 years now.
15, pre-paid, and willing to wait for however long it takes to get them cut and painted. If think you can find 15 people who will agree to those terms, best of luck to you. Im not willing to take the risk on flakey 1gers any more, sorry guys.
I dont have any more 1ga lips to compare to, but I doubt the shapes would match up well.My lips are CNC cut, so its not something you can do in your garage. You can try cutting one out freehand, but I can tell you from experience that its impossible to get it perfect.
That is incorrect. If the person is ripping you off and has cleared the money you sent out of his/her account, you are screwed. Unfortunately Paypal does dick all to protect honest people, be they buyers or sellers. If it wasnt for the convenice, I would never use Paypal again. For anyone...
Id really love to move to California sometime soon, but jesus christ its retarded how much they make you jump through hoops to keep a car on the road. Are there any loop holes for a 'project car' type thing? Something you dont drive on a daily basis but keep as a hobby?
I drove a 2g with the PS disconnected from Los Angeles to Toronto. I can tell you that at low speeds it sucked and became a nuisance very quickly. I wouldnt consider getting rid of PS without a manual rack.
One of my goals when I drop in a 6 bolt is to find a way to bolt up a 1g manual rack. If someone could sucessfully do that they would be my personal hero.
Do you have these cores custom made for you? I thought you used Garrett cores.Maybe to 'prove' how efficient they are, you should compare the temperature drop to a competitors core. Thermographic pictures are nice eye candy and all, but random temperature numbers don't say much.
The place that sells those seats (Street Imports) is somewhat local. One of the guys in the local club bought a pair of the Ronin seats in the synthetic leather material. Im not sure if its true anymore, but in the summer when the company went to a number of the local car shows, they were...
Theres lots of room if you have the battery in the trunk. Right now I have the return line from the FPR clapmed on to the stock hard line. I plan on running a -6AN return line straight down and under the car in the same path as the feed line.

Check out Robs gallery:http://dsmtuners.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=22668&perpage=12&sort=1Theres a few more pics of the lip in there.Im willing to make more, but as I said, I need 10 people. If you want more details, PM me.
Im not going to give away my designs as Im sure you can understand.I have to get them cut in batches of 15. The only way I would consider doing another run would be to have at least 10 people put down deposits. Unfortunately, these lips take a while to make, so there would be a long lead...
I made those lips. I did a run for 1gs, but there wasnt enough interest to keep making them, so Im only making them for 2gs. Heres another pic of a 1gs lip:
I have some strut tower rust on my 2g as a lot of people do. It has gotten fairly bad, its rusted from the bottom right through to the top and there is a hole on one side now. I am thinking its probably not going to be practical to try and cut out the rusted part and weld a new piece in, so im...
The Zeitronix kit has a simulated narrowband feature that allows you to replace the front O2 sensor with the Bosch LSU. Also, the DSMLink guys have written a routine to log it.I think the Zeitronix kit is the best bang for the buck system out there. But Im biased because I have one :thumb:.
I have some more made now actually. PM me if you are interested.I suppose. I had to change the way I drove into driveways when I lowered my car. I havent really been extra careful since I put the lip on, and I hardly ever scrape. I dont think that would be the case if it were a lip that...
A friend of mine had a RM lip on his lowered car, and broke it after three weeks of daily driving.I designed a flat lip that doesnt reduce ground clearance. Ive driven with it for over a year now including through winter and its still perfect. Here are some pics:
Doh, didnt get it. Stupid Hotmail account is filled to capacity almost, hence the need for some more space. If you could try again at [email protected] that would be great. Thanks.
This is correct, and if you do this you never get even light distribution. In addition, LEDs have a more focused beam compared to the more spread out beam of regular bulbs. All this will make the lighting in the gauge cluster very spotty and it will look like ass. If you want your gauge cluster...
My crystal ball is being repaired right now and Im unable to magically know what your car situation is at the moment. Shame on me.Thanks for the update. I put that info to good use when I designed 1g and 2g lips.
My VIS hood and gunmetal Hayame hood pins:My buddies 1ga VIS hood before he put his pins on:The VIS hood is very good quality, very nice fit, and was packaged extremely well. If you want a VIS hood, I recommend going to VIS directly. They were very helpful to us when we ordered...
Just wondering if I should polish the lips on my rims, if anyone could chop this pic to give me an idea of how it would look it would be greatly appreciated:
