I know its a long shot, just wondering if you or someone that may know you is on the forums. Met up at McCoys in Winchester and went for a few runs. Car had some sort of custom hood vent.

Go into evoscan and hit the actuator for base timing. This is just like grounding the timing connector with the stock ecu. Set the CAS so its at 5* just like you normally would. Then go dial your Hi Octane Advance table.

Yeah i just copied and pasted over all the front and rear O2 tables to my rom. Ill test it out in the morn. Need to dig up one of my old attempts and compare to see whats different.

Anyone running 96531706 and using the AEM UEGO and have the rom setup with the Wideband patch. I have tried to impliment this a few times with zero luck. I always end up with an 02 sensor code and alt code. The patch im referring to is here: how-to: control closed loop AFR with your wideband...

I have been running the evo dwell times and havent had any misfire issues yet, did you notice a difference switching over? I have a map setup with the dwell setting xhackerx posted up for the coil on plug setup that im going to try later today since thats whats currently on the car.

What are you using for the dwell times? The numbers posted by 0xdead?

Have you checked compression on cyl #1 yet? That missing electrode didnt disintegrate. If it left the cylinder it may have taken a valve out with it. Have seen this a few times. Also this would indicate a lean condition for that to be missing either due to a bad tune or a failure in the fuel...

Nate, Your last statement pretty much summed up my setup. My setup was not a stock 1g motor with a 16g slapped on it. So yes in my case the intake manifold was the restriction (SMIC aside). 9:1 compression, ported head, 1mm over valves, S2 cams, FP Race mani. Everything was paired together...

I dont have time at the moment to fully address all the questions about my dyno comparison. But the car was not setup to max the turbo out. The setup was conservative on the dyno to purposely show back to back when swapping intake manifolds. I will have to dig up logs if you really need them...

Id ditch the translator and get things setup with the evo maf first, then move over to speed density. I really see no benefit of using a translator with the Evo ecu, minus moving the maf up stream.

What thing is that? Im trying to deal with some idle issues on my 1g and the ISCV tables dont seem to be cutting it. Only stalls with ac on. Really annoying.Would be sweet if there was a way for it to cut the ac compressor off for a split second while rpms's drop to idle, then re-engage it.

Just thought id update the little issue i was having with P0125 and P0622. I had the rear 02 disabled in the peripheries FAA. Once I enabled that, I have been CEL free for 3 days now. Not sure if they are related some how, but neither has popped up since.

You need to go through the steps in that thread i linked. It tells you how to configure the ROM for your configuration. Im pretty sure the default scaling and MAP sensor is set to Omni 4bar, but you will need to go through and make sure.You also need to make sure the air temp input is setup...

Finally cleared up my misfire issue by digging into the Hi Octane timing map. Finally pulls smooth. Now that the misfire is gone i can to dialing things in. Funny thing is 22psi, 80%IDC on 560's and knock counts were 2-3. Rolling into things in 5th on the highway i did see a max knock of 10...

Had this same issue with the base SD 9653 rom. Danl sent me a rom and im pretty sure since then the problem has been gone. And my idle is pretty dead on as well.

What are your fuel trims like? I had issues trying to run 96533706, i ended up going to 96531706 and with some periphery guidance from Danl got things running pretty decent. Need to dial in my trims. But even with the cold weather up here in Va im able to go out first thing in the morn, fires...

Swap pins 10 and 23 and see if you get fire on the coils for 2 and 3. If you end up with no fire on 1 and 4 then its something ecu related or wiring in the patch harness some how.

Do you have fuel on 2 and 3?

Are you still playing with or running an evo ecu in your car?
