I was able to get my hands on an underdrive pulley (a lightweight aluminum one) but it doesn't come with the directions. I can put it on myself, but I donno what size belts get put on. Are they they stock sizes, or do I have to get a new size..Anyone able to help? Thanks in advanced!
Ya I thought about that.. But I really have no idea how to check if the axel is bent.. lol It LOOKS fine.Arg, I can ###### fix anything, as long as I know what the #@$@# is wrong with it.. lolAnyone wanna sell me a late 2nd Gen AWD? :)
Hrmmm that does help a little bit..I throughly checked both front wheels for play, and inspected everything.. And it all looked perfect. not a think out of place..The only thing I keep getting back to is that the rear driver side Eccentric bolt (the one you adjust the rear aligment...
I had the tires balanced and checked (first thing I did hehe)I'll just have to take both front wheels off and check everything..Do our axles have weights on them to balance them? Maybe it fell off.
Replaced the Driver side front hub assembly, had to hammer the #$%$#@ out of it with a sledge due to it being fused together (after 180k miles, who knew? :) )..
But now it shakes like a maniac if I go over 65 mph.. I had an alignment done and it helped a little bit, and they told me my...
Update :All relays are fine, all fuses are fine. It was suggest it could be the switch on the steeringwheel. I hold down the highbeam and they come on, but don't stay on if I release it..Should I overnight a new switch? Please help, and thanks in advanced.
or my interier lights.. My Blinkers work though.. All my fuses are fine, I was thinking a relay maybe might have blown?Or are there fuses that I haven't found yet? lol (and yes I checked the ones under the hood)

It took all summer.. But It's all done..You try doing body work in a driveway, when it has to be all put together at the end of the day, and you still have the drive it every day..UGH..:)Sorry bout the quality of the pics, my Digital camera is having problems lately.. ;)
That article assumes you have a tranny from a DSM avail.. ( I think)What I wanna do is take the Manual tranny from a Neon and swap it into a Auto 2nd Gen.. :)
I'm thinking about doing this as well.Since the junkyard is filled with neons as far as the eye can see, but dang if I'll EVER see a 2g in it.. So, I want a manual from a Neon..I've searched everywhere and I can't seem to find a list of what i'd need if it's even possible. I've foind...
Are you talking about the actual pully or the belt? Your title and post kinda contradicted a lil bit :)If it's the actual pully your trying to get on try heating up the pully in the oven and then get it on (while using gloves)If it's the belt, then I just shoved it on with something to...
Really? I have a 96 talon, and mines along the passenger side door. lol
I went to 3 autoparts stores before I gave up. They all gave me one that didn't fit..
Incase someone here forgot to mention it, the fuel filter you get from Autozone or the like aren't the right filter for your car..There computers will say it is, but it's not... I had to find one from walmart that fit by actually taking the old one and checking the fittings.. Because I have...
I was stuck in the same situation.. I just took the biggest fattest flathead screwdriver I had, wedged it in there and gave it a few wacks..Came right out...Of course they were REALLY bad, and needing of replacement, so you results may vary :)
Hrmm, well if your gauges are like mine then there totally electronic, as in plug into a connector behind the cluster.. There independant of the lights..Try hitting the dashboard hard a few times and see if they jump alive, if the do, great! Then you just gotta find out why the connection...
Yes with hub spacers or a proper offset..BUT..The Front tires will most likely rub, and they'll stick out of the fender, which in most states is illegal and will not pass inspection.
Been lookin around and seems like quite a few parts from other cars fit on our cars.. From the Neon Tranny on the 420a motor and the Dodge Avenger..So, what parts have you found out fit on our DSMS? :)

I do believe on some cars if you disconnect the factory amp the Tweeters stop working.. They work on mine (96 talon) but I think some years are wired a lil differently.. I'm almost positive that on most 2b Eclipses they stop working :)
Hey guys, Soon starting my turbo install and all that, but after spending (groan) an hour lookin thru pictures, I only found a few pictures of completed 420a turbo'd setups..Basically what i'm looking for is the nicest one so I can see the routing of the pipes, and location of the peices so...
I own a 2g, my Buddy owns 2 1g's (both the n/t 4g and the 1.8) Both with the CIA ,though strangly enough it's more noticable on the 1.8 lol.. Both pretty much have had the same problems.. :)
Well like you, I was tired and missed that someone already said that :)Anyhoo,I have the Ebay cheapo type (tm) (actually i've had two of them) And it fits pretty good, except for the fact that the part that secures the entire assembly (the little prong thing) is usually VERY cheaply...
They had to much play.Hrmm, i'll check to see if the recall was done on my car :) And I guess I have to call the garage to find out wtf he was talking about..
