did you check your timing?as for the oil, get some of that special dye that glows with a black light. clean your engine with an engine degreaser. and pour in the dye. you should be able to spot where the leak is comming from.
dude, go to one of those lend a tool auto parts, and borrow the tool to do compression checks. the gentle that is selling you the car won't mind, if he knows nothing is wrong, it doesnt take but a couple of minutes.________________________________

run your car to almost empty, buy a 2 gallons of vp racing fuel ( or equivalent) and put it in a mile before you get to the smog place and run it lean.
it will spool up faster. the dump sounds like a loud hissing exhaust leak at full boost, scary sounding. at crusing speed no noise. that 02 dump tube from slowboy looks nice, you are going to have to reroute it to point down or back into the exhaust.and you might get boost creep if turbo...
yea, your right. you can also pour water into the oil and get the same effect. please disregard my last post except for "have you replaced your thermostat?"
it looks like your stock turbo. get the evo III turbo. make sure to get new gaskets. you might want to consider porting out your exhaust manifold, o2 housing.if you ever get any piping that is colorful just paint it flat black.
if you have the tags, that will be dropped.but as far as your insurance, they only check your record when the policy get renewed. when you renew your policy, or you can do it now:-tell them that the car is garaged
-it has an alarm
-it has the club (for the steering wheel)
-you dont...
go with 550s, even 660s injectors, 190 walbo fuel pump, apex safc, and a manual boost controller your stock side mount will support, and you will be fine.
i agree, just let the car cool off after you make a pass. i always launch at 5000 rpm. also baby the tranny dont slam the gears in, before you launch put it in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, (with the clutch in) so the syncros line up.
i had some of those big fuses blow on me a couple of times.-i had a wrench touch the pos + side of the alt and fuse blew.-a month after i connected my turbo timer, one of the big fuses blew again and my car wouldent start. i just checked the connections for grounding.check your...
buy some engine degreaser (make sure you follow the instructions on the bottle), then drop some uv dye into the engine oil (http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/sub_care_sat/1272471.html?page=2&c=y) and after your engine is nice and clean you will have an idea of where it is leaking.
if a n/t has the same clutch setup as a turbo then:youll need a flashlight, pliers, and a adjustable wrench.- just pull the drivers seat as far back as possible so you can get under there. it is very tight under there.
- The clutch asdjustment rod is behind that big spring, if you...

if it is white smoke, it could be a small leak on the head gasket shooting radiator fluid into the cylinder, and you mentioned about having to add coolant. those compression numbers dont look bad either.
find the highest mountain and push it off the cliff. just kidding. i would sell it and buy a turbo dsm. it would cost you a lot more to install a turbo.
