yeah thanks i was gonna start there. i checked it out when i took the ecu out. the car worked fine before the damn wire broke on the fuel assembly and when i disconnect the ground on the fuel assembly, the car still just starts for a second then dies:confused::mad:

so i took the ecu out and look inside no capacitors or anything leaking or smelling. checked the plugs to see if there fouled, they looked fine plus i cleaned them anyways. i took the fuel assembly out to see if that ground wire was off or anything messed up, that all checked out. still the same...

thanks i was confused because on vfaq.com said that the five prong was the relay but wrong spot. im just goin to switch the alarm horn with with the power windows. my windows stay on an they are not bypassed the relay so its either shorting out somewhere or the relay is shot.

did the mod on my 96 tsi and going to be doing it on my 98 gst. the talon runs excellent. my logger sayd the o2 sensor is reading fine it should be like .02 voltage. make sure you get the right parts and installed them right. make sure everything is heatshrinked or waterproofed.
