Just remember if you remove the valve cover DO NOT reuse the valve cover gasket you will need to puchase a new one before you reinstall everything. Good luck and happy modding :thumb:
first off welcome. Secondly I think you would be better off with a prefabed exaust system I have an N1 2.5 in w 2.5 in downpipe. I think you would be verry happy with it and probabbly come out ceaper in the long run. hope this helps and happy modding :thumb:
Yes you will need to get an upper intercooler pipe so that you can attach the type s. I have this same bov and it easilly holds 18 psi daily and has held 22 psi in my car before. I hope this helps and happy modding. PS dont forget about the Reputation points in the newbie forums :thumb:
If your on a budget I would go with an adjustable shock and lowering spring I have eibachs on my car an like them verry much. If your not straped for cash well the skys the limit I my self would wrather save some cash an step outside when doing suspension mods. good luck and happy tuning :thumb:
Yah just play it safe and dont fool around with this junk. If your looking for boost just save up for a turbo im sur you will be much happier in doing so. good luck and happy modding :thumb:
I had the same problem. Its the turn signal relay. Kinda like a fuse. Why they didnt put it with all the other fuses is just retarded. Its located sortah behind the radio. If you turn the car on you can hear it clicking. just be warned its a pain in the a$$ to swap out. good news is that a new...
Lol thanks for the offer 4 the t25 but i have an extra 14b i could swap on there if i wanted to start parting stuff out. I havnt realy thought about returning it back to stock but i dont realy want to becouse i realy need to just get rid of it as soon as possable. Now that i think about itI may...
Well ive had it in the auto trader for a while now just not much luck in selling it. Its emaculately kept and seems to be what everyone is looking for in a DSM. People want to buy it it just seems that no one has any money lol. Thanks for your advice though. and im not posting a link to the ad...
Look into a DSMLINK. Ithe something as a boost gauge is hooked up wrong you may want to look for something unmodded if you can. Then you can do things yourself and be sure they are done right. I hope this helps and good luck on your search :thumb:
I was wondering if anyone had any helpfull advice on selling my DSM... Or any that hints that may have worked for them in the past I kind of need it gone In a hurry do to the fact that im getting Married soon, and realy dont want to have to auction it. Thanks in advance for any help, Nathan
I would stick with autometer. If your on a tight budget go with some used ones in the classifieds in sure you can find somethin. Hope this helps and happy modding :thumb:
I would say that your safe with the studs but please do not reuse your headgasket. Its better to be on the safe side just get yourself a new one and then you won't be worrying about it. Hope this helps and happy modding :thumb:
Yes i agree a bigger fuel pump is a good coice also you may want to look into a dsm link so you can keep an eye on things and get the most out of you toon. Hope this helps :thumb:
You may want to take it to a local shop if your not to comfortable diagnosing the problem yourself just to be on the safe side. hope that this helps :thumb:
I myself would look for something with under 120k miles and preferably un modded. If it is a awd and modded even lightly chances are someone ran it hard. just some food for thought. Good luck with your search :thumb:
I know this may not be what you want to hear but it will be a pain making a NT fast with a 2k budget. I would go for looks w that kind of cash myself on a NA platform. You could do alot cf hood looks nice an some nice wheels and tires plus anything else you think would look good. Maybe some...
Get you 550s and safc first you need to start tuning once you are comfortable with that then look in to bigger power mods. Also you may want to look into a dsm link so that you can run logs and have a better understanding of the tuning process. Hope this helps and good luck. :thumb:
You want to be safe I wouldnt recomend running over 15-16 psi on stock injectors and fule pump. Good luck with your modding and get some injucters and start making some good hp :thumb:
I had the same problem with my 98 gst . you may want to check out the belt tention and try to adjust it acording. I did this but the problem seemed to come back after a while. even when i baught a oem belt from the mitsu stealer the noise came back. what i found to work was a a belt from auto...
Its not all that had to do. I help a buddy with his a while back with little problem.
You may want to check the local junkyard for a 2gb eclipse they may have all of the parts you need for the conversion. That is were we found ours and did it extreamly cheap. the only real cost was paint. hope...

Nice to see someone else in cincy. Unfortunately im in the process of selling the ole eclipse  Maybe you have seen it its the black 98 gst in the cinci autotrader. But anyway ill eventually be getting back into the dsm sceen, an we need to get a bigger fallowing group meating goin...
