I am on 1000# rear springs so really close to solid. I had really bad wheel hop with street tires and drag radials. After I went to a slick I have no more wheel hop.
10 years of buildup inside, try mixing a water and baking soda mix and let it run through the system for a few minutes then drain and refill. It has always worked for me in the past.
looks good to me.. I had to pull mine out about 3 times before I got it right, but I also shaved the spring down and added a plastic washer to the bolt to move it out alittle bit.
I had very high oil pressure, now it is great..
I run an accufab 75mm, I would stay with a factory unless you are going max power drag build or something like that. I have nothing to back this up, this is just my opinion.
I run a 2g head and am very happywhen I started my build I was going to jump on the 1g head bandwagon and I am so glad my builder talked me out of it..the example I use is Kiggly he runs a 2g head (last I checked) quickest & fastest FWD there is.Its one of those debates that will...
I have Weld Draglites, 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing running a nitto drag radial 275/50/15 tire is 25.5 inches tall and sticks out of the wheel well about 2 inchesI have new slicks but do not have them on the car yet. front is dropped about 1 inch with coilovers (can go more just lazy)...
man I wish you luck, I have been building my 9 second GST for years and not there yet.there are so many issues to work out with a fast FWD, its the little things that take forever.be ready for a car that goes where it wants to rather than where you point it.remember you can make all...
well,,, people are saying that the inner tube can give you less traction on a slick versus the same tire with no inner tube. Reason being that the inner tube applies the majority of its pressure to the center of the tread area because it bubbles up in a ring not as a flat surface under the...
timing error.... just like the time I ran a 10.75@225mphtiming error plan and simple. If he can do it on his third pass it should be very easy to backup.
add 2 more to the list, me and a buddy here at work are quiting, did good monday and tuesday broke down and bought a pack this morning, guess I will go throw it away and start again tomorrow..... quiting is the hardest thing I have ever done, I quit for 4 months and it was great, got drunk...
Dallas, tarrant and surrounding counties use the sniffers for exhaust emissions so you will need a cat to pass or you will have to know someone very well and willing to make a donation.
If it clogged there is a reason, find out that caused it or the new one will do the same.example:
rich- unburnt fuel firing off inside the cat melting it down.
I'd go 2.25 and I say this from experiance. I stepped up to 2.5 on the wifes car and it slowed down through the 1/4. (auto, needs good torque off the line)
If you go with a 2.25 I think you will notice a little more torque down low, which is always go for a daily driver.
paid $11,000 for the car. Last time I added it up it was $15,000 in upgraded should be somewhere around $17,000 now.... way to much, and it does not even run..:notgood:
I got a theater research system off of ebay last year and I have been very happy with it
website listed it as 3500 and I payed 300 shipped to me still new in the boxes. .. .02
sorry guys I got this email and thought is was worth a post. I like # 15.1.Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.2. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start...
did you ask for a mild, street, daily driven tune or did you ask for a max performance tune. IMO there are 2 ways to tune. If you want an all out max power tune it will cost more than $100. just my $ .02.
no waterjust relax during the day and rest up for the nightif you shop always talk them down to about half if they dont go for it walk away and they will come get you and do the deal (9 out of 10 times this works)club COCO BONGO was the best I thought and RED DOG or something like...
I could not see anywhere about the pump being rewired but if it is that is the problem.when you use a relay to rewire the pump there is a small delay from the time you hit the key to the time the pump has power and that is where you get the few more cranks.if it's not then I dont know...
