Well, i have now tried ease's ecu, taking off the ISC and changing the fuel filter. Unless anyone has any other ideas, i am going to rewire the fuel pump, and if that does not cure it i am going to get a new fuel pump and if that does not work I am totally lost. Any suggestions???
Well, I tried ease's ecu and nothing. So we no that it is not the ecu that is having the problem. I was wondering if someone could give me some troubleshooting for fuel pump failure or bad connections or just a bad fuel filter. The car will crank if i give it A LOT of throttle but will not...
I just had my ecu rebuilt last week by direct auto out of Michigan. I got it back on Thursday and drove the car around for about 2 days until it quit again. It is a 1990 Talon AWD. The shop said they test then rebuild, bench test, car test, then bench test again before sending it back to me...
Also, if anyone knows anything about the tmo and eprom upgrades, any information would be really helpful. On the website, it says they are no longer doing ecu work. HELP. Thanks
if anyone could give me some advice as the best place to ship my ecu off to get rebuilt that would be great. There is only minor damage and it is definately fixable. I just dont want to get ripped off by someone. Thanks
would someone let me know if this o2 housing would work with my set up. 90 talon with pretty much stock everything. Thanks for the help.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2455272134&ssPageName=ADME:B:BN:MT:1
The stock steering wheel on my 90 talon is pretty worn out so I am thinking about getting another one. Could someone let me know if the steering wheel bolt pattern is a 5 bolt or a 6 bolt. Plus, if I buy the wheel itself, what else do I need to purchase to bolt it on. Thanks
