me personally went external because flapper wouldn't stay shut long enough to build the boost I want.
external eliminated the creep, spike, flapper drama.
depends where you're mounting the wastegate.
if you're mounting it on the manifold, you weld the flapper shut.
if you're mounting it on the O2 housing. you remove the flapper
they car will run/ be drivable w/o switching the CAS, just switch the wires around for the time being. but it will be a bit laggy, hopefully link will be in the near future so you can do it right
I'm had both, the SBR ported cast and the SBR tubular.
granted I switched to external wastegate at the same time I did the tubular.but the throttle response and spool and better than I had with the cast.
on my testdrive I remember bouncing the boost gauge from 0-10-0-10 like that.

well that almost a year ago, for the past 2-3 months the flapper has been blowing open, I get about 15-16psi max, I've then spend about $700 switching to external, so In the long run, I didn't really save any money going with an internal wastegate in the first place ROFL

seriously,if you can afford a 400+ hp car, u can afford a tranny when it break, gotta pay to play.slicks and stock open diff is a good recipe for snapping axles, if you arent launching, you dont need slicks, that will just hurt your trap.

yea, I get that loud buzzing sound, its like 10 secs or so, with the antenna up, I use to get all my preset stations, not I Only get three.where's the problem, in the radio or the antenna itself. I guess I'll swap in another stock radio to narrow it down
