I noticed while working on my car yesterday it's missing a rubber ring that goes between the lock barrel and the door handle. Does anyone have a Mitsubishi part number for this or know what it's called?
Thanks!
I love how he acts like an expert taking pics and identifying where the shop messed up. Seems to me that he should have just completed the work himself if he knows it all.
Race cars are meant to be raced, and crashes do occur in racing. After examining the pictures, it does not look like those tires started life as slicks. They look like normal street tires with the tread worn off, combined with wet conditions... not his fault... then who's was it?
The H20 dip is interesting. I'm wondering if there are any people who do vinyl work for a job that could help me out, maybe come up with a sick design.
I need some help. I also have a hobby of doing triathlons and would like to do something unique this year on my race helmet. I've tossed ideas around in my head of maybe just doing a 3M chrome wrap- easiest. Or a custom printed design. Problem is no one in triathlons or biking really weraps...
I think you highlighted good areas that you could remove weight, because after all, it's steel, and steel is heavy. Have at it and keep us all updated on the outcome.BTW, I must point out that one area you seemed to have ignored is the roof. It's typically made out of the same steel as all...
What color did you go for? I hope you got the $200 special at Maaco because anything else is a rip off! ;)He means a big 'ol wet tomato slice from a warm Fat Burger... see if you remember. :D
It's really bad out here. The weather is terrible- dry, really hot, miserable. My thoughts and prayers are with the firefighters. I have a friend down in the springs fighting it!
Similar to what I did, but I don't have seats that recline, I removed the sound deadening and I repainted the interior to look more OEM. If I thought it looked good by removing just the carpet and seats, I would have never spent so much time going through the hassle of painting.
Easy- jump your inhibitor switch. I documented my whole A/T to M/T switch on my blog. I encountered plenty of problems and solved them all. Might be worth reading through. Hope that helps!A/T to M/T Swap: Last Words « 4g63vim's Weblog
Tim, I think he has a valid question. Taken from a different perspective, it is for race cars, but race cars crash, go off track, bump into each other, etc. They will need replacement parts. My buddy who race Porsche's simply call up Porsche Motorsports when they break something. Porsche...
In the past I've been sponsored by 5-7 companies- I never had to give any money. What I did have to do was write a very good sponsorship proposal, and spend plenty of money and time attending events.
Get some new friends? I stopped going to cruises and car meets because cops were always there. Even though I didn't do anything wrong, I didn't want to be included if one night there was a huge bust.
Here's what you do, and it will work. Post your story and your picture on their Facebook wall. They should reply because they have 78,000 likes, means 78,000 people you can get your story out to. It's in their best interest to fix the issue.

I think when you wake up for the day you should determine what you want to focus on whether increasing endurance or focusing on speed / high heart rate cardio.
I run two trail routes. First route is about 2 or 3 miles depending on different paths with a shorter but steep hill- I will usually do...
Really good question, here's a quote from Jenson's trainer from a Men's Health article, sounds like you might have a little competitive bug in you as well XiKeiyaZI:
For cardio, I would try to lower the heartrate down a notch. Heartrate is a good indicator of stress. I wonder since you are getting back into it if your body is stressed or shocked to all of a sudden be working hard again. I've experienced that before, I'm sure it will settle with time...
I tried to isolate everything. Chest, biceps (some tris), legs, back and shoulders, triceps (some bis). Monday - Friday. During the summer I'll run a couple days during the week for about 5 miles, and will bike about 12 or so miles on the weekend. This past winter I started swimming (running...
For me I started to see solid results after 3 months- I mean solid, like people notice, you notice in mirror and you feel like you're on the right path.
You're very knowledgeable PieEyed. Can you give some insight on red meat like beef or bison? I barely eat red meat, but from my understanding it contains more fat. What are your thoughts with red meat in regards to staying lean, but also building muscle.
Some advice, I grill up a ton of chicken breasts for the week on a Sunday so I can just grab some and go to work during the week.
Best exercises depend on what results you want. I have included plenty of compound exercises that include balance and a lot of core to improve my performance in the...
Good advice Nos. After eating healthy for a while you start to hate the crap food like the microwave stuff college kids typically live off of.
Oh and I love water!
One thing I can say that really helps is avoiding fat and sugars. It takes a while before you get the hang of what to eat and not eat and really tailor the diet to fit yourself. I ate plain steel-cut oatmeal for breakfast for about 1.5 years and that leaned me out and I recently switched to egg...
I think there is some good advice in this thread. It took me a while to refine my diet. I can't stress how important diet is, the tweaks I've made to my diet have had a direct impact on the sports I do.
Check out this blog for info on exercises and nutrition.

I'm confused too. How does your grandma dying make you inherit your uncles GTR? So because you have no room prompted your uncle to buy another GTR? Your post make little sense- reminds me of the kids in this classic video.

^^^Those brake lines look like they were a rush job. I don't see a point in doing it if the brake lines are run in an uglier fashion than OEM.Bulkhead fittings for brake lines and get a bender and flare tool. Take your time.
