Yeah i went to put on new rims and got to the last wheel and 2 of the 3 bolts just keep spinning with the impact wrench. The bolt has corroded itself to the stud. How to I get it out and replace it. The only thing i could think of was to grind off the bolt with a dremel or something like that...

I'm pretty sure that on ball and spring mbc that if you want to turn the boost up you must screw in not out....I know you would think its the other way around but thats how it is ;)
The boost is reaching whatever we set it to with the mbc but can't get past 5000 rpm under WOT. (i'm assuming we are hitting boost cut. Now the interesting part.....if I dsconnect the BOV recirculating line from the intake tube the car goes to redline but idles like crap down low I'm assuming...

The leak is not from the wastegate or the hoses...its from the actual turbo itslef. right where the comprssor housing is, and or the band clamp, where it bolts to to the exhaust housing. It only hold 5 psi and thats it.
It sounds like a have a major leak coming from the turbo area. Is there anything that it could be over there in that area, or is it the actual turbo? I'm almost positive its not from the intercooler pipe. What else could it be besides the turbo itself?
I did some logs and I check the 02 sensor voltage and it seems fine. I saw it go as high as 1.0 Before I thought the car was running lean but now its running really rich. Is there any particular reason why it would be running so rich? Maybe the MAF is bad. Any insight would be good. I also need...
I just got a CEL code from the crank angle sensor. Do you think that could cause this. I just had the timing belt done by turbotrix do you think that could have something to do with it?

I have almost the same exact problem in my 1g. I can't get the car to go over 5000 under WOT. It feels like I hit a wall. Now If i go up to redline under 50% or so it will make it. I only see 10 psi and no more. Stock boost.
Mods are evo manny and 02 housing
(ported) along with apexi downpipe and catback stock boost controller. (for now) It hits 10 psi according to the guage and not any higher. The weirdest thing still remains to be the fact that on part throttle it can go to redline.

I see may kits here that offer the t3/t4 turbo setups. They are around 1500 for the kit. What else is needed to bolt that up?I have even seen some t3/t4 turbos for like 750 that bolt up to the evo III manifold.Is that a better idea then going with the kits or no. How sreetable are the 50...
I have yet to lose to a dsm in my wrx....actually. Its pretty quick actually. I have taken down EVo's from a roll and from a stop. The DSM i won on ebay is mine and my brothers car. Its basically a project car...we're going to try and see how cheap it is to make this car run 11's to shut up...
