I may be building a stroker engine. And the 4g64 shortblocks don't come with oil squirters. Should I have them machine shop put 1g style ones in? If so how much should it cost me? Or should I not use them, and get my pistons ceramic coated.I have heard that are alot of turbo-charged cars...

I am going to need to buy another clutch to replace my stock one. I don't race the 1/4 very much at all. But would want to do road racing and auto-x.So which clutch do you suggest for a more road racing kind of person? 2100, 2600, or Centerforce? Thanks in advance.
I'm looking to buy a good all-weather car cover from my 2g. I am going to be using it year round. Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
I am looking to replace the carpet in my 2g. I'm taking out my back seats, so I would like the carpet to cover that area as well, instead of the bare metal. Anyone know any places that sell carpets that are pre-cut or something like that? Thanks in advance.
Is there a fellow DSMer that can give me a helping hand?I am selling my car, but a kind DSMer is really trying to keep me from selling my car. And he's willing to help me out, but the problem is. We need to borrow an AEM EMS to see if that will solve the problem. We'll only need it for an...

I made a mistake, I took apart the ISC, instead of taking it out from the 2 bolts. I didn't see them with the low light, and I finally saw them since it was sunny outside  Unfortunately, I still have an idle problem even though I replaced it with the ISC, from my 2g :(
I need to replace the ISC from my 1g TB. But I don't know what year this particular ISC is from. It looks different from all the ISCs I see online and the 95' ISC I took from my 2g TB.
I need to replace my ISC motor in my 6-bolt 2g. What years can I use? Looking to get a good used one to save some money. Or do you guys suggest I get a brand new one?
I don't really understand why having 4 doors is such a bad thing.EVO and WRXs were never thought of as family cars. Maybe here... but in Europe and Japan they were probabaly known best as rally cars.2 or 4. It doesn't matter, either way they can still beat most cars on the road.
There's a small % that get crankwalk. I was talking to a Mitsu tech around my area. And he has never seen one come to the shop yet. I did get it, however, I still think it's very rare. As the ones who do get it, will tell everyone. And the people who don't get it... just think nothing of it.
I am going to be getting a pretty good second job. And with all the money I make there, I want to save or invest it.However, I don't know which way would be the best. Savings account, stocks, real estate, etc. What are your opinions on the best way to save or invest money?
You have to take out the interior panels in the rear. After that you just unscrew them. There might be a little more, but when you take out the rear interior panel, it's pretty much straightforward. I just swapped my talon lights for eclipse ones not too long ago.
I thought they would refund you everything since you never received anything. I'm sorry to hear that. Just keep calling and e-mailing them, maybe that will help.Use Escrow next time. I believe it's a much safer way of buying things with someone online.
If I were you, I would just get a 240sx and do the silvia conversion like a few people have said.I don't think it's going to be possible to drive it legally. If they ever catch you. You will probably lose the car. There are some huge write-ups on the Evolutionm forums. Links to laws on...
I work for a company called Pre-Paid Legal. Basically we let people know what the company is about and they offer, and if they are interested they can apply for membership or work for us.I make on average $100 a week, part-time, I just started. My co-worker who's been doing it for 5-6...
I had them too. For about 2 years. They hurt ALOT for days/weeks the first few months when they tighten them monthly. After the first few months pass by, you start getting used to them after a day or so.But in the end it's all worth it :thumb:
Should I try bringing it into the dealer?I'll try looking for an electrical automotive shop till than. Another thing I noticed with the headlights. It happens from time to time. It'll work fine and than do that.
Just would like to know if anyone here has a welded center diff or the TRE-spec Center differential spool (similiar to welded center diff)If you do, how is your daily driving? I am planning to have one of these... most likely the spool. And I will be driving daily with it. Just would like to...

I have this very weird problem with my car. When I am driving on the road, and I go to turn on my lights. The car seems to bog down for a millisecond. Like lose all power for a split second, and come back to life. My engine light than comes on for a few seconds than goes away.Anyone...
I have a pair of Kenneth Coles dress shoes I wear most of the times and Globe skating shoes :thumb:have a habit of letting my right foot kind of sideways while I am driving and it rubs against the floor casuins scrapes and evetually holes. I usually keep shoes till they have holes in them...
I usually shift around 3500-4000 if possible. It seems my car likes it, and it slips right into gear every time.I can lift my foot off the clutch totally with no bogging when I do this.
I am planning to put some hood scoops later on, and need some ideas on which ones look good and are funtional at the same time.I looked through a few forums, and most of the links to hood pics are all down. So I am having trouble finding some. The Invader hood looks alrite, but the one...

A friend of mine wants to buy a sports bike. I don't know too much about them. But it seems a few of you know your stuff. She is looking to spend under $5,000 for one. Are there any suggestions on which bike to get for a beginner? And are there any kind of classifieds for bikes online like...
Kind of hard to pick something out with those choices? How about a car that handles great, and reliability so-so.I was thinking RX-7, Miata.I read RX-7s are great if you don't really modify their engines.
What is a quick reliable car for around $15,000.I prefer to have handling than straight line acceleration. And would like the car to be relatively quick, as I don't really want to mod it too much (exhausts, etc.)Just would like to know your opinions.
When my car is fully warmed up my exhaust starts ticking. And it continues ticking even after my car is off, until it cools off.Anyone know why my exhaust ticks like this? It's a repeitious tick that comes every few seconds.
I like the turbo wing the best. And if your planning to take out the wing you have now, you are going to have to get the holes painted and the new one mounted. It's going to cost you anywhere from $500 - $800I've seen a turbo wing on a talon before. Doesn't look that bad, a little weird...
I have like 180,000 on my car. I recently had a 6-bolt conversion done, and alot of things under the hood were replaced. But the body, is better than most late 2Gs I've seen.
