what a sketchy dealer. The diagnostic fee is 60 dollars. The dealer is supposed to CHECK if the car needs the work done. If it does need recall work, you don't pay a dime. chrysler will pay for diagnostic fee, all parts and labor. If your car is fine, you just pay the 60$ diagnostic fee.

heres an update. Got the car back today. only 1/4th tank left of 7 month old gas so i filled it completly with 93 from mobil, ran it normal driving for 10-15 minutes. then i did a 3rd gear pull, and my timing at 5700rpm is now 16degrees with it steadily increasing to 19 degrees by 6400rpm :)...
