has anyone installed an irc intercooler in a galant vr4? i was interested in the irc street core, emailed them and have yet to hear back. i was mainly concerned about install information... i.e. cutting necessarr? fitment etc. if anyone has any experience with this setup, any info would be...

so ive got this honey of a galant vr4 that is itching to make some serious ponies. but i have run out of money and am now forced to save up to buy part by part. during the last outing much was accomplished... a full tune-up including replacing a seriously cracked ex mani with a 2g. new toys...

i am seeing the same thing....ive got the stock 14b @ 15psi but it spikes to 17 under WOT. only on this one street by my house do i hit fuel cut but when i get on the loud pedal it happens like clockwerk... boom, no more fun.what i am wondering is what i can do to combat this... im set...

i think we forgot to mention that (at least the 1g) AT DSMs came with smaller turbos... less power + no shifting = two reasons to buy a 5spd.

i recently installed a hallman mbc on my galant and set the boost @15psi. the car had been sitting for a few months and had some old gas in it when i did the tuning using my mechanic's datalogger. i encountered very minimal knock (cant remember an exact number), and boost was holding very steady...
