If anyone wants a 90 awd shell with 4bolt with all the 92-94 upgrades done pm me. Or if you just want the 4bolt. Or any other of the 100+ parts I'm parting out :)
I still cant get mine to fit right :( I can't get anyone to buy it off me either for what I paid for it. Sucks. What made you want to add extra bars to it?
If all your going to contribute to this thread are insults and warnings, what kind of a mod is that? Good luck banning me. You forget how many servers I manage from how many different IP's and how many email servers that go along with them. It's not hard to sign up again if I cared enough to do...
The plate that fits where the radio usually goes that would let me sport gauge spots there? Preferably in carbon fiber. For a 2g.Hey chris figured I'd bring it over here. Enjoy.
This thread is pretty funny, but I'm going to be laughing my ass off even more if he actually does pull it off. Anyone remember the VW with the jet engine in the rear end? :) I'm sure lots of people laughed at him when he mentioned doing it before it was done...
Anybody know of any good quality center vent gauge bezels that hold 3 gauges? Also anybody know of a gauge bezel that will hold a single din cd player and 3 gauges below it?These are both for the 2g.

Good luck! I have yet to enjoy my auto or at least the consistent part :( My stall was going out when I bought the car in the beginning and I had to use nitrous to get it past 2k while stalling up haha. I'd run a 12.0 then a 15.0 then a 13.0 then a 16.0, it was annoying. So I've spent the past...
stupid question but you still have to use a scatter shield with autos? I suppose it would be a great idea. ROFL I suppose any regular scatter shield made works just fine?
I'm boosting 20-30psi on my 95 Talon AWD and I cant get my IC pipes to hold. Heres a description of how my pipes are setupTB, coupler, pipe, coupler IC.IC, coupler, pipe, reducer from 2.5 to 2.25in, 90deg bend, coupler, 90deg bend, coupler, turbo.Everything between is welded...
I'll be happy if I can reach 300whp on this thing. I'm not aiming for the sky with this thing. Just looking to have some fun with it. Consistent low 12's would be nice too. Might have to get some slicks to achieve that I guess.
Perhaps I asked this the wrong way and used the wrong term in my last thread.Anyone know if anyone with the setup below ran any times? Links to slips of person, etc? Just looking to see what someone else has already done with this setup.1g awd stock 6bolt and good trans w/ all the free...
You could always try Intercooler Pipe Fabrication - Silicone Intake Systems Auto Parts. They are pretty good about they're couplers. Not sure if they warranty them but they are nice. Especially for the price you cannot beat them.
wtf?I never understand why people want to keep all the good shit secret. Screw those people anyways.I still prefer dsmlink over this :) Just having a membership on the forum is almost worth the price in full anyways.
x2 I usually just leave the shit open and loop it on the motor, not on the body.Side note: if you dont have dsmlink installed, you'll get a lovely lil CEL eventually about it.
It looks like you went the short route than the RRE piping route. Please do take more detailed pics. I know that area what looks to be the way you took needs to be cut out, but I'm trying to see exactly what you guys are cutting. I dont want to cut too much or in the wrong areas. Especially...
I've got an old school cast spearco intercooler. The one with the inlet and outlet on the same side for 2.25" pipes. I'm putting a fmic on my first 1g ever as all I've ever messed with are 2g cars. I'm trying to figure out what exactly you guys cut to run the piping, and which ways you ran the...
I'd be very nervous about that fitting on the housing like that. That brass is a very soft metal and breaks easily. Especially on motors with alot of vibration. I've had mine break off while going down the road, it broke off into the housing. Another friend of mine had the same happen. Its never...
Ok guys, I got a 95 awd tsi automatic and I've installed the 11x8x1.5 B&M tranny cooler in front of my radiator, I have a spearco fmic thats 3" thick, and fills up the smiley front bumper perfectly, I also have a B&M oil cooler thats 3" taller and 1" wider than the stock tranny cooler, and I...
Tried that but I think I'll take it to this specialty store tomorrow. They have a tool that can measure it. Lowes and ace hardware didnt have what I needed to find out. :( They didnt even have bolts big enough to fit in the hole.
its not always going to stick in the same place every time you let go of the gas. That tb sucks though if thats the one with the half shaft design. I still think if your not making 9-10.0 passes or faster, why bother with a bigger or different tb?
I'm still convensed that dropping the exhaust at the dp will still cause the valves to burn out due to lack of back pressure. It happened to me on a hahn super 16g 4 years ago. I'll be running my DP out the side of my front bumper though so I hope its not possible with a 4088r. :sosad:
Ok I've looked and looked for this one and I need a bit of help. Tried the local hardware stores (which are a minimum of 40min away from me) and I need to find out what size is that hole on the water pipe that bolts to the block coming from the water pump? The one that points down. I'm going to...
My dsm manual cd no longer works or I would have. Sorry for the misinformation. There couldn't be that much to this issue though. Take the cams out and see if the crank will spin 100% that way you know your hitting a valve.*edit* thats right, I remember 5 for the reason that one of the heads...
I was thinking exactly what this guy was saying. My 95 gst had this the first time I removed the head. But not exactly as bad. Just clean the pistons, properly freshen up the head and your good to go for the most part.
I'd swear that your supposed to torque the caps to 5 not 15. Take the spark plugs out, valve cover off, set time and make sure its 100% Make sure the lifters are set and not extended all the way out, try to spin it while in neutral. If the cams wont turn, that tells me that the caps are too...
For the past year the T for my oil sender and after market sender has leaked oil in very little amounts, like a drop every hour or so.Well today it burst open and now it leaks like a fountain. Any idea how the heck to get this thing off and how to prevent this from happening again?aw f*k...
I'm interested in learning how to do my own port work on my heads and I'd like to know what tools you guys use on your own heads and possibly some techniques to do the job. Pictures are very much welcomed! I have a very steady hand when it comes to doing very detailed jobs :)

i didnt go to the lengths you guys did. i just ziptied mine in and had it facing straight out like the smic does. Held 100% fine, never saw the zip ties. :)
