How about this one... my radiator cracked and leaked coolant everywhere, so i was trying to get to my girlfriends house... ( a couple blocks away to leave it... but i got stuck by a train and it took literally a half an hour (infront of a train station) so i had to run to the gas station down...
If when you switch to synthetic it leaks a bit dont worry im pretty sure thast will go away, its normal for it to leak a bit then it goes back to normal, thats what ive heard anyways.

So yeah... my friend has a Z24 (auto) and we were just messing around and we raced, it must have been the auto tranny, because i got off the line quicker, and kept about a car length the whole time, (two blocks). So I'm thinkin autos wont beat us, and 5spds... thats a race.
No way man 265 is WAY too big and theres no point in it, especially if you have a FWD car, you want the same tires all around not bigger ones in the back. I reccomend for you P215s or 225s, P265s would look rediculous.

I think you lost becasue of absense of torque, plain as that. I hate to admit it (yes it hurts me to say this) but it was just a faster car... EEK. Although I think 5-10hp/torque gain would allow you to beat 95% of cavaliers.
DUDE! with that muffler you shoulda blown a cavalier away!!(sarcasm) haha dude, mufflers rarely add hp, and usually restrict it, unless your previous muffler was really bad, i dont know why you would put that on there, anyways i posted a question about z24s too, thanks for the answer.
Heres a question... whats the best exaust for someone who wants performance, but hates that ricey sound made by 95% of the good stuff, i'd like something a little deep and throaty not whiney until it gets high rpm.
What do you guys think about a stock GS or Esi vs a stock Cavalier Z24?
the z24 has us on hp and torque.... but i've driven them, and they dont seem to have the get-up dsm's have.
www.carpoint.com that should help, it will tell you the stock hp and torque, its got the curb weight (which is what your car is probably closest to when racing) listed along with pretty much every other spec you should need... gear ratios etc
